Homeless man rescues flag

| July 11, 2010

Since we’re talking about flags today, here’s the story of a homeless man who is still grateful for the few blessings being an American has bestowed upon him. Strong winds in El Paso knocked over a flagpole and Gustus Bozarth stood in the strong rain and wind and folded the flag as properly as he could under the conditions;

If only those who burn flags at the IVAW could be as grateful for what they’ve been given. Gustus isn’t even a veteran, yet he has more respect for the meaning of the flag than many of the pseudo-intellectuals at IVAW.

And those flagburners? They’d better take notice of the people around them. Items from this section have been my biggest selling design for over a month.

Wrong guy walk up on a flagburner and use his/her freedom of expression by stomping a mudhole in his ass would change his attitude.

Saw this story last week. It’s nice to know that people like that still exist in this world!
