John Hawkins at Right Wing News posts the twelve worst signs he’s seen from the pro-illegal immigration rallies in Arizona.
It appears to me to be about the most ridiculous and intellectually vacant debate of our times. How can Europeans be illegal aliens when they came here before there were laws? If we can’t agree that illegal aliens are criminals under the current law, there’s nothing to discuss.
Arizona is faltering under the weight of allowing millions of criminals with no accountability into their homes and the Federal government can’t summon the testicular fortitude to deal with the problem like it’s actually a problem. Arizona had no choice but to prod the feds along.

Interestingly enough, according to Anthropologists, EVERYONE on this continent came from somewhere else. To continue this debate to it’s logical conclusion, (using the logic these protesters seem to be using) then EVERYONE ought to be deported and the entire continent returned to a state of wilderness and soul-less flora and fauna.
As an aside, these folks are in for a very rude awakening in the next couple years. Scientists have been analyzing mitochondrial DNA from ancient American human remains going back well over 10,000 years. They’ve been able to isolate 5 distinct lines of ethnicity. Of those 5, 4 are from Asia, and the 5th… wait for it…. is European. Seems those pesky Europeans were also over here when Mastadons walked our plains.

Take a peek at the Arizona law in question, and find out that all the verbiage from the opposition has nothing to do with the actual provisions of the law.

People are under the mistaken impression that this is about anything other than building a burgeoning political constituency which will ensure Democrat majorities in Federal and local governments from now until the total economic collapse of the country…at which such time, the Chinese will essentially own everything and stupid shit like “race” won’t matter, comrade.
It’s funny. If they put this much effort into repairing things in their own country, Mexico might not suck as bad as it does now. The only reason they’re streaming over the border now is because Mexico sucks. Sorry, but it’s true. I’ve always said that countries should strive to have Americans (real Americans, not elite, rich Hollywood types) want to live there. In order to be utterly fair in responding to the sign, I propose that we run genetic tests on the entire population of the American south of the 49th Parallel. All those who are less than 3/4 Native American, no matter where they came from (US, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina), will be returned to their ancestral place of origin by the UN and re-trained in culturally appropriate survival skills. Those remaining in the Americas will also be re-trained in appropriate survival skills, including subsistence farming of strictly indigenous plants. All introduced animal species will be removed (equines, domesticated bovines and sheep, poultry) so as to relieve the Natives of the burden of having to deal with environmentally incompatible species.
Un, huh. That’s what I though the reaction would be.
