Mr. Trump, meet Mr. Biden. You have something in common

Yeah, other than both being President ‘way later in life than they should have.
President Biden was notable for always bringing his family into things. Who hasn’t heard of his wife and daughter killed by a drunk truck driver? (He wasn’t and it was their fault.) His son who died of cancer in Iraq (well, several years later.) The list of Bidenisms goes on and on, and Republicans gleefully pounced on ’em for the last four years as evidence that Joe was, shall we say, not lighting all the candles on his mental menorah.
But there is always that big, big, problem with being a bit of a bloviator living in a glass house… and Mr. Trump got busted throwing family story stones. To wit:
President Donald Trump appeared at an event in Pennsylvania on Tuesday to promote investment in artificial intelligence. But in classic Trump fashion, he veered into a story that had nothing to do with AI.
“When I first heard about AI, you know, it’s not my thing, although my uncle was at MIT, one of the great professors, 51 years, whatever, he was the longest serving professor in the history of MIT, three degrees in nuclear, chemical, and math,” said Trump.
Well, his uncle was a long-serving highly respected electrical engineering professor. Not the longest. Sorta close? But it gets better.
“Kaczynski (Ted Kacynski, aka ‘The Unabomber’ – ed.) was one of his students. Do you know who Kaczynski was?” Trump said. “There’s very little difference between a madman and a genius. But Kaczynski, I said, what kind of a student was he, Uncle John, Dr. John Trump? He said, what kind of a student? And then he said, seriously, good. He said he’d go around correcting everybody, but it didn’t work out too well for him. Didn’t work out too well, but it’s interesting in life.”
Even more interesting – Kaczinski wasn’t identified until 1996 and John Trump died in 1985. (Ya think either Trump was that sharp? He was identified through his political writings by his brother.) Why would someone ask about him ten years before he was identified?
There’s also the fact that Kaczynski got his bachelor’s at Harvard and then went on to earn graduate degrees at Harvard. Gizmodo
There is no record of Kacynski ever taking a course at MIT while he was at Harvard. Or Michigan, or Berkeley. Kacynski was a math major, too, not an electrical engineering student.
I know it’s a radical thought… but stick to the truth. If you don’t know, don’t say it.

Waiting for his anecdote about working as a lifeguard at a Queens community swimming pool and how stood up to the local gang leader and gained his respect. The guy’s name was Cream O’Wheat.
Corn Pop was a bad dude.
Corn Pop popped Biden booty. He ain’t been right since.
You mean like being a Lifeguard during summer as well as playing football despite claiming to have asthma, which is a definite disqualification for Military Service?
I have pretty much given up.
I don’t care about anything coming out of Washington, DC.
I don’t care about anything coming out of St Paul, MN.
I don’t care about anything that comes out of the filthy sewers of any politician that occupies an office that We The People have opened up and granted occupancy to a long line of criminals who have done nothing but put tons of money into their own pockets, while telling the rest of us idiots that they have been serving our best interests. I am sick and tired of dealing with “business as usual” and am quite ready to take up arms and dispense corrective measures upon this government that has stepped on our freedoms for far too long…
Yup!
Word.
I haven’t had my freedoms stepped on lately so I’m not feeling the urge to rush the ramparts. I’d like my government to be held accountable, this is the opposite of what they want so we are having a spat about that right now. We have had rougher times in our relationship over the years but things seem to be headed a better direction lately then the last few years so I’m trying my best to be patient.
At the end of the day Trump is just another politician and like many other politicians on the planet tells lies and tall tales occasionally. While; “My dead uncle knew the Unabomber”, is a weird thing to lie about, it’s a pretty harmless lie. Biden’s lies tended to either be harmful such as blaming the truck driver for killing his wife and being drunk, none of which was true, or exploitive saying his son has died in Iraq to garner sympathy from Gold Star families. Then of course there was the million and one lies Biden told to cover up their corrupt criminal activities such as selling his office.
I’m wondering more about the big lies Trump is telling such as the attempt to gaslight people into thinking they he has no idea who went to pedo island. We know the FBI knows who went and who got on with little girls. And I get it, Prince William and whoever doesn’t want to be hounded the rest of their days for what they did, but there needs to be some kind of accountability, even if they never see the inside of a jail cell. And maybe not everyone who went to pedo island got with a little girl, but they know for certain those who did and they are covering them up. We aren’t going to forget or be gas lighted so the sooner they make that happen, the less stain on the president there will be.
Release the files!
This is not about politics. It’s about grown men porking underage girls.
A lot of dudes on both sides of the isle (and internationally) have a common interest in covering this one up.
I imagine Trump’s phone is ringing off the hook.
Why is David dropping shit on President Trump again? Is not enough with all the crap the legacy media dumps on Trump and his supporters on a daily basis?
So, just to be clear, I am perfectly aware of the imperfections our President has. I did not vote for him because he was a moral or an ethical person. I voted for him to wrestle the reins of power from the Democrats hands and correct the course our nation was heading.
Not long ago, I realized politics was not about getting elected moral people, but about getting elected leaders who would make the best decisions for our country.
The Democrats did not elect Biden or tried to force Kamala Harris through our noses because they were the paragons of the Democrats ideals, but to enforce their policies and “values” on the rest of us.
Fight fire with fire. If you want moral people elected to office, you will never vote, and will hand over the presidency to the Democrats.
Said that, President Trump is morally and ethically head and shoulders above any Dem candidate. But that’s not why he got my support. He got it because of his policies. Even if he doesn’t do everything I want him to do, he still light years ahead of the Democrats.
Joe and the Toe were elected because they could be easily controlled. Controlled by who exactly is what we are trying to figure out now.
We may never know for sure because they went to great lengths to cover their tracks.

Joe: politicians doing stupid things are all fair game. Right now Republicans are in power so you can expect them to draw more fire (well, seemingly more – Crockett and AOC are ubiquitous). Giving Trump a pass because Biden was worse? Sorry, hoss, not happening.
That’s why Democrats keep winning elections even when they are a minority.
Their messaging is far more controlled, having a greater effect on undecided independents.
But by all means, feel better with yourself by doing the Democrats’ job. The stakes are not that high. Who cares about the future, right?
Pretty sure that if the Democrats read most of my columns they wouldn’t have me
There is a logic hole in your statement you should sort out.
Well, I am kind of slow after all.
What’s the logic hole?
Democrats keep losing elections. The only exception being in areas where Republicans have no chance due to racial and pro choice voters. Republicans won’t ever pander to racial groups because they prefer to treat everyone the same. Most won’t give up on protection of the unborn over the baby flushers.
Those are the only two issues that Democrats can win on. All the rest is a melting pot of very bad ideas without popular appeal to voters. Psst, don’t tell them, they think they are right and the rest of us just don’t get it. Since that mindset is near impossible to change we don’t need them pretending.
I don’t understand the -1 downvotes. You’re absolutely correct!
He got and gets my support because he actually does or tries to do what he says he will do, and he is a fighter for our country, truth, justice, and the American way.
Maybe Trump was just passing along stories that he heard but had no proof that they were true. This I classify as carelessness. On the other hand, the Sniffer in Chief simply told flat out lies to the public that he knew were not true. It wasn’t even embellishment, they were bare-faced lies. Thats warped.
He is quoted as saying HE asked his uncle. Not hearsay.
“He’s is quoted as saying” is the very definition of hearsay, as in “I heard him say….”
Most judges don’t understand the hearsay rules or how to properly apply them. But as one of my mentors liked to say, “they aren’t on the bench because they are smart.”
Will support for Trump drop after this?
(Checks polls)
Doesn’t look like it.
Oh boy, now Trump is throwing a tantrum.

Don’t know about calling his biggest cheerleader a “dirty filthy rag”. Seems a bit of an over reaction to me.
