Sorry, I’m zoning

| January 20, 2010

We finally got all of the contractors out of the house yesterday, it’s 50 degrees outside, the furniture is all in it’s proper place, the stereo is hooked up, I don’t have to go to actual work for a few days, there’s no pressing Google-foo operations and there’s a cold six-pack of Saranac Trail Mix in the new fridge and the grill is hot.

I’m just basking in the tranquility of a successfully completed final move, another phony soldier busted and a Republican in the Massachusetts Senate seat.

If you want to complain about my lack of participation today, have at it. Or you can stop by our mountain retreat for beer and pork chops.

For Olga; The view from the patio – that’s the Potomac Valley with some sort of blue-colored mountains to my west.

Slacker.

You mean you’ve already got the rifle pits dug, the walls loop-holed, and the claymores set on the perimeter?

Or are you soliciting volunteers for that hard stuff?

NHSparky

Save me some of those pork chops. I’ll bring my own beer, named after me–Arrogant Bastard Ale.

tankerbabe

Is MY room ready? I’ve been putting off my packing until you gave me the word.

Look just a bit south over those mountains… I’ll run out and wave.

Er, uh, what’s your elevation? Temp here is barely 40.

I’ll skip the pork chops and bring deer burgers and Busch. Just say when.

Regardless, welcome to WV (sorta).

Other than the claymores you’ve mostly described MY ridge in WV. But then I’ve been here a while.

Sweet. Congratulations on the new digs. Looks like a heavenly sort of place, ahhhhh.

Congrats, Jonn! I know you’re glad to be settled.

SoCal Pir8

I am so envious of your location. It’s what I’m looking for as I prepare to leave SoCal and move back to NC. If I can see my neighbor’s house it’s too close.

You need to push that tree line back another 100m….

Beautiful shot of the scenery and congrats on the new house and successful move.

Sorry. . .
All I see are trees. Lots and lots of lovely, beautiful,self-renewable alternative energy source trees.

Enjoy your new house.
