Twice deported illegal alien, convicted of vehicular manslaughter, set for early release
Oscar Eduardo Ortega-Anguiano, twice deported illegal alien, was convicted of two counts of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. Ortega-Anguiano crashed into a car containing two 19-year olds, who died while burning alive after the impact. California is set to release him after 3.5 years of what originally was supposed to be 10 years in prison. Both ICE and the DOJ want to gain custody of him after he’s released. California plans to hand him over to the federal government.

Oscar Eduardo Ortega-Anguiano was driving drunk, high, and speeding at nearly 100mph on the 405 freeway in Orange County in November 2021, when he crashed into a car being driven by a young couple, 19-year-olds Anya Varfolomeev and Nicholay Osokin, which killed them both as they burned alive. In spring 2022, he was convicted of two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
Fox News reported on Wednesday morning that Ortega-Anguiano will be released by California state government on July 19 after serving just 3.5 years of his 10-year sentence, and the families of the victims were informed of the early release on Easter Sunday.
“My office has filed a felony immigration charge against this defendant. He faces up to 20 years in federal prison if convicted for 8 USC 1326. If the State of California will not seek the full measure of justice against this individual, the [DOJ] will,” Bill Essayli, United States Attorney for the Central District of California, tweeted.
Attorney General Pam Bondi also weighed in following the exclusive Fox News report.
“This is absolutely unconscionable. What about Justice for these teens? What about the rights of their parents? [The DOJ] will work with ICE to make sure this illegal alien receives full punishment for his crimes,” Bondi tweeted.

2 19 year olds burned alive, and he gts 10 years. 10 years gets reduced to 3.5. How anyone, conservative, liberal, or in-between can say that this is a good thing is beyond my comprehension. What should’ve been reduced was his lifespan.

Not having looked at it in depth yet, I would bet that whatever he was originally charged with was reduced via plea bargain to involuntary manslaughter and he got a max sentence for that. From there, “good time” meaning 2, 3, or even 4 days credit for each day served results in this.
We correctly call this an outrage but as a result of the above and various other can kickings this outrage is not a one-off but is really a common, every day occurrence in the American legal (not justice) system.

Back in the day in Yuma they would climb over the fence where the bunkers were. The guards would call in the MP’s and they would round them up and have them cuffed and sitting along the wall at their barracks/office. The bus would show up and take them back to Mexico.

There used to be the remnants of an old tank on the machine gun range, gave off some really satisfying noises when you’d hit it with a long burst. Legend has it that a Soldier ripped a burst into it and a half-dozen illegals came out with their hands up. I have no idea if it’s true but it’s absolutely plausible.

He will be deported once he serves the federal sentence he will get if they charge him for his second illegal entry, which the US Attorney has vowed to do.
The Commiefornia dept of corrections will parole him in July this year. U.S. Marshalls or ICE will be waiting for him. Then he will be charged with his second illegal entry, which will likely get him at least four years in the federal pen. Then he will be deported unless the D-rats take the presidency in 2029.
Unless the judge sneaks him out the side door…
Forget the FedGov sentencing and imprisonment. That takes up too much time, resources and money.
