Man shot after trying to rob someone in McDonald’s bathroom, Greensboro police say

Greensboro police said they were called to a shooting last night near the McDonald’s on Gate City Boulevard.Police responded to the area around 8:30 on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
Officers arrived and found 29-year-old Aaquan Butler suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators said Butler tried to rob another person in the restaurant’s bathroom.
Police said a struggle ensued and ended up in the dining room area, where Butler pulled a handgun and it went off.
Butler was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. He is facing many charges including robbery with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Heaven Ashanti White, 22, was charged with felony conspiracy, aid, and abet robbery amongst a list of other charges.

Driver ran over two gunmen with vehicle in self-defense, SAPD says
Two men face aggravated robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges
SAN ANTONIO – A driver ran over two gunmen in self-defense after a confrontation on the East Side, according to San Antonio police.
The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Sterling Street.
Two men, who were riding bikes, had attempted to steal a motorcycle from a house down the street, police said.
According to SAPD, the men eventually came across a driver as they were leaving and pointed guns in his direction.
The driver of the vehicle did not have any affiliation with the house where the attempted robbery happened, police said.
SAPD said the driver of the vehicle ran over the men who pointed guns in his direction.
The driver of the vehicle managed to disarm the two men after running them over, police said.
Afterward, one of the men tried to flee the scene but was later taken into custody.
Two guns were recovered from the scene.
Upon arrival at the scene, police said that officers detained several family members of the gunmen.
Police said the two men face aggravated robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
The driver of the vehicle does not face any charges since he acted in self-defense, police said.

I think I’ll include the second story in the 3″ three ring loose leaf binder of T2NB2AGF. But this time, it was the GOOD guy who brought a CAR to a gunfight in self-defense. And it worked!
Two men on bicycles, a motorcycle, guns, a car (the hero of the story – KITT, is that you?), the car’s driver, family members of the gunsters……this has all the elements of a bad soap opera. Now to rewrite and edit it into a coherent story.
If it is a coherent story, it will only vaguely resemble reality in this case.
Attempted robbery in a fast food place is low. If the intended victims had any money worth stealing, they wouldn’t be eating at a fast food place.
And to rob at a Mickey Dee’s – even lower.

I’ll take my chances with a 3″ Kframe. Weighs a bit more but a known good quantity, and I wouldn’t be embarrassed to be seen with it. We rented Chiappas and sold them – sold very few. The nicest comments were “too wierd.”
I’m not big on the small frame offerings in general. I prefer a duty size variant. But if I were to decide to add a small wheel gun, I am willing to give it a looksee in all fairness.
