Israelis End Beirut Bomber

Clueless

White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby told media the U.S. was not notified ahead of time about Friday’s strike.

Hezbollah commander involved in US embassy and Marine Corps bombings is killed in targeted Israeli strike

By Mike Brest

A senior Hezbollah commander, Ibrahim Aqil, has been killed in a targeted strike in Beirut, Lebanon, the Israeli military confirmed.

Aqil, commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan special forces unit, who had eluded capture for decades, had a $7 million State Department reward for information leading to his arrest. He played a “principal” part in the bombings of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in 1983, which killed 63 people, as well as the bombing of the Marine Corps barracks in the same year, which killed 241 U.S. personnel. In 2019 he was listed as a “Specially Designated Global Terrorist” by the State Department.

Israel Defense Forces spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari confirmed that Aqil was the target and said that “top operatives and the chain of command of the Radwan unit were eliminated” in the strike.

The Lebanese Health Ministry said eight people were killed in the strike, a tally that could rise, and that more than 50 others were injured, according to CNN.

Israel’s strike came after Hezbollah fired dozens of projectiles, rockets, and drones and caps an extraordinary week between the two sides as the situation threatens to boil over into all-out war.

Israel is believed to be responsible for an elaborate operation to sabotage Hezbollah’s communications devices earlier this week.

Washington Examiner

Israel not notifying whoever is currently running the White House of its intentions to attack Hezbollah is why they succeeded so brilliantly. Despite this even a lapdog like Kirby would have to admit killing Aqil was long overdue.

Ironically, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports Aqil had been discharged Friday from a hospital after being treated for an injury caused by exploding pagers. The inconvenience didn’t keep him from the meeting, inshallah.

They are really kicking ass and taking names and they don’t know how to write.

It makes one wonder what the Israelis will come up with next. More importantly, it makes Hezbollah and their ilk wonder what they’ll come up with next.

Nice.

Break all the means of communication and force a F2F meeting and then bing, bang, boom and Mohammed calls some more home.

No way I would tell the current dunces in charge. They have more leaks than the Titan Submersible.

Odie

The reason they aren’t telling anybody here in charge is because like us, they don’t know either.

Don’t inform Biden Administration and…

Operations go on to be yuge successes.

Hmmm….

Hack Stone

They could have told Joe Biden, but he is so out of it he wouldn’t even understand what was going on. No joke.

Seems the Israelis don’t believe the Iran/Hezbollah/Hamas/Houthi denials of terrorists residing in their home territories and have decide to Nike-“Just Do It” them.

We’ve been trying the opposite for all but four of the last 16 years….I think their approach is proving more effective.
