SEE IT: Chick-fil-A delivery driver fights off alleged armed robber, pulls off mask in surveillance video
The would-be robber allegedly threatened the delivery driver with a handgun to open the Chick-fil-A’s safe

51-year-old Tommie Lee Williams was arrested in Gwinnett County, Georgia after attempting an armed robbery at a Chick-fil-A restaurant around 4:30 am.Williams, allegedly armed and masked, broke into the Chick-fil-A at Stone Mountain Highway, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department. Williams then threatened a delivery driver present in the kitchen area using a handgun.
“When officers arrived, the victim told them that he was a delivery driver for the business and while he was inside working, the suspect smashed through a drive-thru window with a rock and entered the kitchen area,” wrote the Gwinnett County Police Department in a Facebook post.
“The suspect told the victim that he was going to die if he didn’t open the safe and pointed a handgun at him. The victim told police that he didn’t know the combination to the safe, so he decided to fight off the armed robber,” the post continued.
The surveillance footage shows the two men fighting for several minutes over the gun, with the Chick-fil-A driver ultimately fending off the armed robber.

Williams was arrested for armed robbery, aggravated assault, burglary in the 2nd degree, kidnapping, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree.

Man hurt in Norfolk shooting
Norfolk police responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 6600 block of Chesapeake Boulevard around 8:35 p.m.

NORFOLK, Va. — A man has been arrested and charged in connection to a shooting on Tuesday, according to the Norfolk Police Department(NPD) .NPD responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 6600 block of Chesapeake Boulevard around 8:35 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found Javon C. Williams, 24, shot in the arm.
After a preliminary investigation, NPD said they realized Williams was shot after entering the home.
Police have charged him with burglary. He is being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.

The Chik-Fil-A robber forgot one major lesson. “Never f**k with a chef in his own kitchen. He knows where the knives are.”
Give that delivery driver a day off (with pay) and a pay raise. Sounds like the driver brought every weapon to bear against the robber.
And the writer of that story needs to have her hand smacked -HARD- by Sister Mary, with a heavy wooden ruler, for the second sentence in the second paragraph, “Williams then threatened a delivery driver present in the kitchen area using a handgun.”

What was the delivery driver doing, using the handgun in the kitchen area? Stirring the batter with the barrel? Maybe working a side gig for an Asian restaurant making Kung POW! chicken?
