At one point, it appeared that he was interacting with someone only visible to him… Or the folks folding the flag on the ground. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni works her way towards Biden, reaches for him and then turns him around. She shows him where to direct his attention. Biden turns around and then looks at the skydiver in front of the group. It was almost like watching a group home client being prompted through an activity.

The full video does not support your claim. Yes, he wonders towards folks folding a flag on the ground, but he’s not exactly looking at them. He has a distant look on his face and does not appear to be looking at them. Also, it does not make sense to give the thumbs up to people who are not acknowledging you.
If he had control of his faculties, he would’ve done what the others had done… Notice the difference between what the others were focusing on, and what Joe Biden was focusing on. Whatever it is that he is taking, prescription medication wise, had worn off and he may have been overdue for his scheduled dose.
The full video is more damning than the image shown above. If you’ve seen the mentally challenged in a day program setting, Joe Biden’s actions would be hyper familiar. This is how many folks in the day program behave. His being led back to the group is very similar to what one would see in a day program setting. The Italian Prime Minister effectively provided Joe Biden with supports normally given to the mentally challenged.
