BY MARK PRICE
A burglary suspect was sent running for his life when a 76-year-old Florida homeowner heard his wife’s screams and began shooting, according to investigators. The intruder was wounded but survived to be arrested in the street by deputies, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office reported in a news release. The homeowner was not hurt, but his wife suffered non-life threatening injuries in the attack, officials said.

Soso candidate shot dead
Incident likely self-defense, officials say
By Mark Thornton
A Soso man who was going through a bitter divorce was shot outside his ex-wife’s house in the pre-dawn hours on Tuesday, according to reports from local officials.Jason Adam Marshall, 41, was pronounced dead at South Central Regional Medical Center by Coroner Burl Hall.
Marshall’s brother-in-law Christopher Davis is accused of firing the deadly shot, but the findings of the initial investigation indicate it was self-defense, Chief Jimmy McCoy of the Soso Police Department said.
“It’s just a bad situation,” he said, adding that the divorced couple’s three young children were in the house at the time of the shooting.
Marshall is accused of coming on the property, in violation of a court order, just before 4 a.m., and when Davis confronted him while holding an AR-15 rifle, Marshall reached for a 9mm handgun and Davis shot him, according to reports.

A protective order and an AR is better than just a protective order. Apparently important to the story, in a December special election for Soso Mayor Mr. Marshall received a stunning 5 votes from a pool of 137. Thanks again Gun Bunny.

Old man protects wife, wins in one-way gunfight. Outstanding.
AR15 beats 9mm. According to what the media and politicians want me to believe, that’s a no-brainer as the evil COC (Carbine of Color) has the capability to fire all 100 clips in the magazine on its own.
Now, the PC Carbine. I remember when those were first released in the ’90s, and I wanted one. Originally marketed towards police as the PC-9 (Police Carbine), the 1997 North Hollywood Shootout resulted in LE agencies mostly going the 5.56mm AR-15 route in lieu of the much less powerful 9mm. Of course, .40 S&W versions were available as well, as that’s very much a ’90s cartridge (10mm hurts, let’s neuter it).
Great in intent and implementation. Especially with the newer takedown versions and Glock mag wells. For the first time since the days of lever actions and wheel guns, we had complementary carbines and pistols. Sure, there were guns like the AMT Automag III in .30 Carbine, but it doesn’t share mags with the M1 Carbine, and is an awkward pistol (my Army buddy and former roommate, now a CBP officer, bought one in the mid-2000s). I like my .45 Colt Vaquero and Winchester 94, and I like my 9mm Glock 17 or 45 and PCC.
When I looked in the factory box of a used PCC we bought last year, I figured I’d impulse buy it. It’s identical to the one in the article (not the pictured M-LOK version), came with three spare SR-9 mags, a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot, and an aftermarket compensator, all for about $100 less than we sell the base gun for alone. I bought my Security-9 that day as well for the magazine compatibility but have since dropped in the Glock mag well. Good grab and go gun, or perhaps if I buy a decent small case, it’ll be a great car gun, with one of the Glocks (or a new Glock 19) next to it.
Your boss may want to look at hiring these folks…

Good to see that we are ending this year with a few less dirtbags. Fight back…bring any and every weapon to bear. Even if it’s a plasticized abomination of Politically Correct, non black, anemic round, with no facility for mounting a chain saw bayonet. Oh wait…The PC designation stands for Pistol Carbine? My bad…I stand by my statement and turn to The Gospel of HMS JMB (HBHN), Rev 19:11.
Neither Joe Gobbels nor Joe Grabby has the right to form my opinion of despots.
PC carbine with a red dot sight for night use seems like a great home defense weapon.
Sure is, and the standard take-down PC Carbine has the short length of rail on the fore end for a light. I may look into getting an inexpensive one this week, maybe the iProtec RM230. I bought the RM230LG for one of my pistols earlier this year, and for the price it’s not too bad.
Poor victim selection by the “juggers”. Hope they locate the third scumbag.
It would be great to see the look on his face when they charge him for the murder of his cohorts.
For Mr. Christopher Davis’s sake, I hope the Soso PD, does not live down to its name.
Ahhh, we’re looking into it, So-So….
😂 😂 😂 😂
Dude, she’s just not that into you any more.
But her brother’s boolit is.
Time to move on.
Oh, wait, need to call the meat wagon.
Tox, you did notice that Flu-ruh-duh man attacked the older couple “…with a rock, detectives say.”? Cain used a rock…so did the lad who would become King, David. Neither Abel or Goliath had a gun so….
Don’t know if I’ve been a smart-alec about this before, but…

U.S.S. Gravely shoots down two anti-ship ballistic missiles fired against shipping by Houthis. So far, no one’s blown the crap out of Houthis or their launch sites.

Purely defensive sh*t will not settle this. Houthis’ asses must be kicked. The lack of cojones to do so is letting these goat-molesters run riot.
