During the altercation, one man stabbed the other. The man who was stabbed then pulled a gun and shot his assailant.

What is it about Dollar General that they are the subject of so many robberies, like the serial robber who got taken out by police doing a reverse drive-by? Criminals Aren’t the Only Ones Doing Drive By Shootings…. – YouTube

My first week moving back to the area saw me stopping at a new to me DG only to see a couple of Sheriff’s Office SUVs outside of it. I didn’t think much about it, but when I approached the store, the employees told me I couldn’t enter as they’d just been robbed. Mid-afternoon and in broad daylight…

Of course, DG has become almost a meme chain, with videos like this: Dollar General recruiting new stores – YouTube I have at least six stores and a DG Market within five miles of the house, so maybe they’re just an easy target. After all, they never seem to have more than two employees working there, and with merchandise lining the aisles, they don’t exactly offer an easy means of egress, or even video monitoring.

Dollar General is just a somewhat larger version of the circle k’s ands 7/11’s that we all called stop and robs.

If Trump does get back in office he needs to start issuing awards to people who have earned them. Gary Larsen is one of the funniest cartoonists I’ve seen.

It might be fun to award Far Side and Thomas Sowell at the same ceremony.

Our Beloved AW1Ed thinks we have a $ tree in the back yard. But I guess an MSRP of $6995.00 is better than one of $10 very large.

Off Topic;
I mentioned in yesterday’s post about Henry Kissenger’ passing away and I commented that the American legion had an article about the man enlisting in the US Army during WW2, so when I lit off my PC a few minutes ago, Last nights Army, Navy and Marine Corps Times mentioned his passing but never mentioned his WW2 Army service and going overseas as a Rifleman. Guess the people who sent out all three Mil online services maybe figured out that since he was off Jewish faith and used the myth that Jews never served in the Military like one of the Volly Fireman in Hose 1 told me many years ago not knowing that I was of the Jewish Faith. I guess the Mil Times editors never watched the GI Jews Documentary on PBS.
