ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The suspect who was shot by an Albuquerque police officer Saturday afternoon is dead.

There were two suspects: a woman and a man. Police were able to get the woman into custody, but the man ran away and took out a gun.

That’s when officers began to chase him and eventually fired, shooting and killing the suspect.

“The female was taken into custody there at Kohl’s and the male fled, and a foot pursuit ensued,” said APD Deputy Chief Mike Smathers.

Around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Albuquerque police officers were conducting their holiday tact plan Operation Sticky Fingers at the Kohl’s on Ellison Road NW and Cottonwood Drive.

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Rock Hill Police on Monday night shot an alleged bank robbery suspect in the hand, and said in a news release the man showed a gun.

No officers were injured, according to a written statement from the Rock Hill Police Department.

The shooting happened in a commercial area close to the intersection of Herlong Avenue and Ebenezer Road, the statement from the Rock Hill Police Department said. The shooting came after an armed robbery around 6 p.m. at PNC Bank located nearby on India Hook Road, the police statement said.

Rock Hill police and the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) identified the suspect Tuesday as David Herbert Massie, 45, of Pennsylvania. Massie faces charges of armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, Rock Hill police said.

The alleged suspect later identified by police as Massie used a gun during the bank robbery then fled with money, Rock Hill police said in a statement.

After the bank robbery, responding officers saw a person matching the suspect’s description on a bicycle south of the bank near the Millwood shopping center on Herlong Avenue, police said in the written statement.

He would have had a better chance if he had at least changed his shirt, FFS.

Caution.

KOB…yes!…Really…Tho any resemblance to your very own much Beloved and barely tolerated KoB is purely coincidental and The King of Battle…THE King of FIRST receives no compensation from the news station that uses his call sign or the Admins of TAH….didn’t even get any Kohl’s cash. Dirtbag didn’t get to keep any Kohl’s cash either. Two (2) good examples today that running from the cops will just make you tired…dead tired. Pro tip for crooks…hard to make a high speed get-away on a bicycle.

10 very large $s for a reach out and touch boom stick? Damn thing better be able to hit what it’s being shot at, fetch me a cold beer, make me a sammich, AND orally gratify me.

Wonder what caliber that boomstick is?
From the scope, doesn’t appear to be 50BMG.
Whatever, I’m sure that once it’s dialed in, it could be named “Ma Bell”, “reach out and touch someone”.

Quick google says the SR version of the AC is a long action and can be chambered in big-boy cartridges like .300 WinMag, .300 Norma Mag, and .338 Lapua. Probably DOES do everything KOB wants…except make the ham sandwich.
