V.A life for some.
You forgot about saving up 5 gallons of urine, and sending in a picture proving you shagged Miss America.
Worst sheer saw of any meme.
Too many to list that I like, but you can’t go wrong with far side cartoons.
Winning The Battle of The Memes doesn’t mean we are winning The War for our Freedom…Prepare…
And the enemy may not be one wearing a foreign uniform.
It’s a scenario I wouldn’t want to see in my lifetime, but one which seems inevitable if things don’t change for the better. Off the top of my head, there are a few things that could spark such a “fight”:
Going back to the shared post, though, will any amount of training and preparedness save us? Initially, no. Until, and I hate to say, if, American Patriots banded together for a collective fight against an enemy, the full power of the regime will be brought to bear against small groups of individuals. I’m old enough to remember when the events of Ruby Ridge and Waco were considered by some to be a call to war. What did those events result in? Dead men, women, and children, names like Randy Weaver and David Koresh becoming vilified by local and national media, and very heavy responses from federal law enforcement, with the willing aid of state and local agencies, as well as the National Guard.
I hate to sound cynical, but look at how our government operates, then consider modern technology and the propensity of many to follow “authorities”, either through blind subservience or for personal gain. Want to keep your job, or qualify for a stimulus? Trust us, we’re from the .gov and here to help.
How many “terrorist” cells are compromised by undercover agents who set things up in the first place. “Jihadist? I can score you some good ammonium nitrate, and even a van to carry it in.” The aforementioned Randy Weaver comes to mind, having been set up to illegally modify shotguns. Your “dudes” you’ve been training with probably include at least one informant. Even local LE has access to drone technology that’s been surveilling your training area and property, and unless you go completely radio silent (no cell phone or outside communications whatsoever), your movements, conversations, and other facets of your day-to-day life are being tracked.
In a worst-case scenario, the initial Patriots will be killed or captured quickly, lambasted by the media and other citizens who just want a quiet life, even if it’s one of restricted liberties, socialistic .gov micromanagement, and what would amount to a police state.
Finally, going back to the “call to war”. In the mid-’90s there was someone with such a mentality. Due in no small part to what happened at Ruby Ridge and Waco, this former Soldier, who served in Desert Storm and even earned the Bronze Star (for Merit, but still quite the feat as a buck SGT), decided to take action by bombing a federal building, killing and injuring hundreds of unsuspecting and innocent men, women, and children who had nothing to do with the previously mentioned events.
There’s a very fine line between being a Patriot seeking to fight for American values and beliefs, and a becoming a terrorist who indiscriminately takes lives in a misguided attempt to “strike back” against an evil government.
Those who may eventually decide to fight need to be prepared for every last segment of their lives to be dissected by the media and government spokespeople.
Roger all the above, Good Sir. Locally, I’m The Gray Man, just blending in, very few know me, I know very few. My core “Prepare for the fall” squad are trusted compatriots that I have known for decades and they are “The Gray Man” in their respective AOs, all within 30 minutes by vehicle. My little ‘ville has less than 2K people total with the county only having about 9K, the majority of them (and the trash) near the semi metro areas 25+ miles away. Known by the local popo as a fine, stalwart, upstanding citizen, that would most probably give me a heads up if I was on someones radar. I’m in a purely defensive mode here, with two very strong, secluded fall back positions.
I hold no illusions of holding off a determined attack by either ferals or feds as a one man Army. I do have a reloader that’s not a bad shot, fur missiles to give some notice, and a few surprises staged. If I don’t have enough twitchy feelings to get everybody to the primary hard site, they will pay dearly to take what I’ve got and there won’t be much to pick over in the ruins.
Ideally, and we’ve discussed this, we liquidate everything we have, separately, and hie out together to the mountains and dig in to ride it all out. That’s the best plan. Now if I can just get my baby daughter to make the jump from Flur-Ruh-Duh, I’d leave within a week to ten days.
I don’t usually fact check you guys in this wasn’t so much of a fact, checked as aWTF Check.
This is kind of up there with with CW would post but about the Buddhist monk mummy statue thingy

I was bludgeoned into researching quotes, now this? The veracity of any given Boomer’s Sunday item is neither expressed nor implied. Caveat emptor, dude.
GOOD STUFF once again!
I liked the lift and elevator toon, and of course they do have their ups and downs………..
Good job as always, glad to see memes that are so uplifting and elevating…
You guys should avoid escalating the problem.
Hmmphf! That Halsey guy must not have been much of an Admiral. Plenty of empty space left on his chest and only one qualification badge.
New one today:
