DC teen tries to carjack ‘grandma’ with cancer but gets brutal reality check: ‘You going to jail’
The Washington, D.C. woman told the teenager ‘baby, you better shoot me, because you’re not taking my car’

A woman known by community members as “grandma” in one Washington, D.C. neighborhood helped put a 15-year-old in the ambulance after he allegedly attempted to carjack her as she was leaving to go to chemotherapy.The attempted carjacking occurred on Feb. 17 at around 8:30 a.m. in the 22nd St. Southeast neighborhood, according to the Metropolitan Police Department, which said the 15-year-old suspect entered the senior citizen’s vehicle “demanding keys” to the car. Police say that the victim attempted to pull the teenager out of the car while yelling for help from her family.
The woman told WJLA that she told the teenager he wasn’t taking her car.
“Next thing I know, he walked up talking about, ‘give me your keys, I got a gun.’ I said, ‘baby, you better shoot me, because you’re not taking my car,” the woman said.
After she yelled for help, neighbors in the area came running to her assistance. The teenage suspect attempted to run away, but was caught by neighbors.
“They caught him and I said, ‘oh, you going to jail today. You definitely going to jail, yes you are,” the woman said.

After Fairfax Police Shot And Killed Man In Tysons, Investigators Looking For Eyewitnesses

Fairfax County police officers shot and killed an adult man after a foot chase on Wednesday night in Tysons.The two officers, one in uniform and one in plainclothes, chased Timothy McCree Johnson, 37, out of a Nordstrom at Tysons Corner Center after security personnel reported that he was stealing designer sunglasses. According to a statement released Thursday afternoon, the chase continued through the parking garage, across a parking lot, and 20 or 30 yards into a “wooded area.” Police say the officers followed, giving verbal commands throughout to Johnson to get on the ground. Both officers shot their weapons, striking Johnson in the chest once, and rendered first aid until rescue teams arrived.
After officers shot Johnson, he was taken to a local hospital, where he died. Neither of the police officers were hurt.
Police said the two officers who shot Johnson were part of the Tysons Urban Team, a unit of the Fairfax County Police Department that patrols the mall.

Rep. Slaton, who represents HD-2, was rather candid about the situation that purportedly occurred in Hunt, Hopkins, and Van Zandt counties on Jan. 10, 2023.
“I am deeply sorry for the citizens of House District 2 for their alleged loss. I filed HCR 54, notifying the federal government of this alleged event because it would not only be pointless for Joe Biden to attempt to confiscate any firearms in House District 2, but it would be incredibly insensitive during this time of mourning,” wrote Slaton.

Family of 12-year-old shot, killed in stolen vehicle speaks out against vehicle owner

The family of Elias Armstrong is furious the man who killed the 12-year-old boy won’t face criminal charges.The boy was found shot to death in a stolen vehicle in the 2900 block of West 10th Avenue on the night of Sunday, Feb. 5.
The vehicle owner, using a phone app, had tracked his stolen vehicle from the 8300 block of East Northfield Boulevard to the area of West 12th Avenue and Decatur Street, where he shot Elias Armstrong.
The 12-year-old then drove the vehicle a few blocks away, where he died from at least two gunshots.
“I think that if he would have just let the police approach the car and he sat back and waited till they got there, that my son would be alive right now. Since he took the law in his own hands, my son is dead because of him, and nothing is going to happen to him but a pat on the hand,” said an emotional Thomas Armstrong, the father of Elias.

I personally think that Mom and Dad should be charged with not properly raising their now deceased son to obey the law and not steal cars and not shoot at people.

No, your son is dead because he thought the law didn’t apply to him because he was 12 years old, so he stole a car, and then tried to kill a man who responded by defending himself from an armed CRIMINAL who just happened to be 12 years old.

He actually said “pat on the head” (for a job well done) but it was mistranslated. Taking on 3 ghetto rats who were armed and coming out ahead with (score should have been 1/0/2, I think) no injury and getting his car back is a win.
