This past Wednesday, the day after Mardi Gras, was Ash Wednesday. This is the first day of the Lenten season, which comes before Eastertide. It’s like the Advent season that comes before Christmastide. Ash Wednesday, and the Lenten season, are not just observed by the Roman Catholics. It is also observed by Methodists, Baptists, Anglicans, and Lutherans. Enjoy your weekend!

Mrs. GB is doing extraordinarily well post knee-replacement. The physical therapists continue to be amazed at her ability to flex and extend her leg, move around, etc.
She went to her sewing group yesterday for several hours, then had me take her to HEB to walk around the store & pick up a few things.
This woman amazes me.
Brother is doing well, too.
Substituted at a prison school today, ended up writing six cases on four inmates. These boys are not all that bright.
All quiet in the GB Compound – except Airborne Son & Fam got a bad stomach bug yesterday.
