Russia Strikes Poland

| November 15, 2022

CINC Deep in Thought

Mick sends us news of Russian munitions falling on Polish territory and killing two. The Polish government did not immediately confirm the incident, but stated leadership is holding an emergency meeting.

Media reports a projectile strike in the Polish village of Przewodówe near the Ukraine border. Both Pentagon and National Security Council spox were unable to confirm the reports, but said that the U.S. is “working with the Polish government to gather more information.” The Russian Defense Ministry has of course denied responsibility for the strikes.

Russian missiles cross into NATO member Poland, kill 2: senior US intelligence official

Biden has promised to defend ‘every inch’ of NATO territory

By Liz Friden , Caitlin McFall | Fox News

Russian missiles flew over NATO territory and killed two people in Poland on Tuesday, a senior U.S. intelligence official told the Associated Press.

The Polish government has not immediately confirmed the report, but one spokesman, Piotr Muller, told the publication that top leaders were holding an emergency meeting over the “crisis situation.”

Two people were reportedly killed after a projectile struck an area where grain was drying in the village of Przewodów, near the Ukrainian border.

I rather doubt the Poles will put up with this, nor should they. The problem is, obvious.
Thanks, Mick.

Donald Trump is going to start World War III. They were only off by four years. But hey, no mean tweets.

To add to Joe Biden’s accomplishments, the Joint Base Andrews Commissary was out of eggs this weekend. Just as well, thanks to the “Putin Tax Hike”, no one can afford eggs anyway.

And so it begins. How many of us here predicated something along these lines. Just a matter of when and where verses if. And how many troops have we already sent to Poland lately for “training”? Odd how we have a Former SoS that is known to be in collusion with the Russians and other high(est) officials in our grubermint that has family members known to be in collusion with the Ukrainians. How many billions have we sent to Ukraine and now we have a report that sniffy prezzy wants another 43 billion to go there? And how much expendable ordnance is left?

K Roger had eggs marked @ $3.29 doz (they were out). The 18 count were $4.89. Bacon was $7 & up a #, 12oz packs were $5 per (out of them too). Did get a deal on tomato sauce @ .79 and some sell by date rib eyes @ $7.69 #. Stock up, my Friends, it’s just gonna get worse.

There are still brain dead losers out there who think this was all Trump’s fault to begin with and that Biden is just cleaning up his mess.

It must suck to live life being so stupid.

Just look at the shit so-called “Professors” in colleges are still force-feeding young kids fresh out of high school!

“Think like me, or else!”

Only for those of us that are not that stupid. For the idiots, they don’t grasp they are idiots.

Roh-Dog

I’ll wait for proof of complicity.

‘The first casualty of war…’ and all that.

What ever the cause, the associated effects are dangerous, standard, and insulate-able. So, as a broken record do: Get food, ammo, medical supplies, water and ways to make more, commo, and a group of the like-minded.

Here we go again, same ol’ shit again.

Hate_me

Especially given how much propaganda Ukraine put out early on in the war…

No one benefits more from NATO involvement in that war than Ukraine.

Then again, Russian troop incompetence or some other error is not out of the question…

Nor is Chinese interests in distracting/exhausting NATO/US forces prior to more overt actions on Taiwan; they could easily leverage Russia to escalate.

Add in Turkey’s Interior Minister rejecting American condolences for the Istanbul bombing, claiming the US was complicit…. No NATO nation is more logistically significant for Russia than Turkey. No NATO nation is more willing to work with her, either. Inter-alliance strife doesn’t bode well.

Russia may well have done so intentionally. Or accidentally. Or it could be a false flag. Who knows?

All we know is Biden has the conn. How many average Americans still know how to swim?

USMC Steve

Some site was claiming they are experts on weapons of that sort, and based on the rivet holes or some such, they came from a Ukrainian AD missile.

MustangCPT

Apparently Biden is now telling that same story. We’ll see…

This might work?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Rooskies aren’t even operating in western Ukraine. AFAIK, the farthest west they have executed attacks is against Kiev which is smack dab in the middle of the country.

Just seems hinky that the Russians did it. But who knows what the fuck goes through Putin’s mind.

5JC

Yep, you are wrong. They have been launching long range missles there for weeks.

Dragoon 45

Heard this from one of the brain dead calling in on the radio this evening. This is supposedly Polish Maskirovka so they can avenge Sept 1939. As conspiracy theories go, this one needs some work.

As we contemplate what all this may lead to, let’s pause for a moment and remember, on this date in history, the American Boys that were engaged in doing what another Country’s Boys should have been doing. Those American Boys were sent in by a Demonrat Prezzy who got his job(s) in a nefarious way too. History does repeat itself.

I speak, of course, of the Battle of LZ X-Ray in the Ia Drang AO. Where is Hal Moore when we need him? 14-16 Nov 1965.

5JC

Looks like they are going Article IV for right now. I’d love to be a fly on the wall for those conversations.

If Russia fails to claim the attack and doesn’t do it again likely much won’t happen. The worst way they could go would be to claim it and tell NATO to back off. The complete collapse of the Russian Military makes them look rather pathetic. But NATO won’t invade Russia right now.

A central Asia powers vs Europe WWIII would be pretty bad for everyone 100s of millions of Russians would likely die.

Late word is that it was a Ukrainian defense missile that went awry when fired at an incoming Russian rocket.

Hack Stone

Hack Stone wants to get ahead of this story. The Ukraine Army may have been using the guidance software from a proud but humble woman owned business that sells software formerly located in Bethesda Maryland, but it is their fault for not opting for the rust proof undercoating. You have to read the fine print.

David

Multiple articles today that the missile itself was not Russian and that NATO planes tracking the battlefield report the missile origins as not in Russia. Now, if you believe in sophistry a Russian unit in Ukraine could make such a denial work, but everything also says that the attacks on Ukraine were all froim Russia.

USMC Steve

It also presumes there is anyone in Russia that is squared away enough to pull it off without messing it up. Not sure about that anymore.
