Quick updates
Want to know why I am pretty sure a recklessly careless killer will face few criminal consequences? No real updated info on Alec Baldwin, but a quick Google search for the phrase “probation for manslaughter” turned up 4,440,000 hits. Unless it turns out he was staggering drunk, I’m predicting he will do little if any jail time. If nothing else, he (ahem) walks on the left side of the street and would likely be tried in deep blue northern NM – if all.
The Iranians are getting froggy with our naval drones again – Thursday they landed two on board the Jamaran, tried to conceal them under canvas, and then eventually after being confronted by a helo assault ship and a guided missile destroyer. We need to start proiminently labeling our property: perhaps “C4 FUEL CELL HIGHLY UNSTABLE – HANDLE AT YOUR OWN RISK” would be appropriate.
The Air Force has decided to fly their tilt-rotor MV-22 Ospreys after all, without any safety repairs mandated. No word on how many AF pilots attended remedial Marine flight training (ducks.)

I knew they couldn’t charge him with murder, since his actions didn’t warrant that.
But at the very least I wish there was a way to charge him with Felonious Assclownery in the 1st Degree. There could be a sentence of life in front of a firing squad.

That’s why there are Manslaughter charges available for unintentional homicide. He was still reckless enough to fit the charge. In any sane world, the FBI repoort on the gun should convict him.
Correct, he had to have pulled the trigger or slip hammered that SAA. He has repeatedly lied when he says he never pulled the trigger after drawing back the hammer.
In a just world, the families of those he killed would take him to civil court for monetary damages.
IIRC, the burden of proof in such a setting is a preponderance of the evidence, not beyond a reasonable doubt.
If Baldwin were to be held accountable to the point it significantly depleted his pocketbook, he just might learn a lesson and not be a fucktard as much.

Chair Farce can fly the MV-22 now that they have an Operator’s Manual that is not printed in crayon. Doubt if they’ll take it into a danger zone, but they may drop in on a beach volley ball game
It’s more likely that Xiden will send a squadron of C-141’s, each loaded with pallets of cash to Tehran, before taking any military action.
How about we paint a few Mk48 like drones and cruise them past the Irainian bass boats?
