Woman shot by Dallas police at Love Field airport after she fired handgun in terminal

A woman was shot by police after she fired a handgun inside the terminal at Dallas Love Field Airport, according to authorities.Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia said that the incident happened after a 37-year-old female was dropped off near the Southwest Airlines ticket counter on Monday morning.
He told reporters that the suspect then went into a toilet, where she changed her outfit and came back out. An officer in the terminal then saw her pull out a handgun and she began firing into the air and “aiming at the ceiling.”
Police say that the officer “engaged” the suspect and she was shot in the “lower extremities.” She was taken into custody and then to the hospital.

Police K-9 helps deputies track down domestic violence suspect in Spanaway

A K-9 team from Lakewood helped Pierce County deputies find a domestic violence suspect in Spanaway.On Sunday at noon, emergency dispatchers received a call about a protection order violation in the Spanaway area near 224th and 38th Avenue East.
A man was threatening to break down the door and was violating a current domestic violence protection order, according to deputies. Deputies were told the man was known to carry a gun.
The man had fled in his vehicle just before deputies arrived at the scene. Deputies began searching for the vehicle in nearby neighborhoods.
At some point the man parked his car, ran and started hopping over fences. Police said someone called in the suspicious behavior. Deputies set up a perimeter in the area and called for a K-9 team to help.
The Lakewood Police Department’s K-9 Rock arrived with his partner to help track the man.

Crazy price for a 1911.
Been to a gun show lately? The prices are just nutso for everything, especially ammo. The hoarders that stocked up to sell later are trying to cash in.
National match barrel, Heinie sights, beveled mag well, front strap checkering, adjustable trigger stop, extended safety. Try pricing a similar gun from almost any manufacturer… heck, just look up Jim Clark Custom or Les Baer and see their prices. You’ll think $1700 is downright reasonable.
I still think it’s a little spendy for the features. I went to a few gun shows and was also disappointed. I bought a few pistols this year and seemed to have better luck shopping around on the web and having it sent to my local FFL. I think RI or Palmetto, Tisa or even Colt has more bang for the buck. The pic is one I bought last winter, granted its a 10 but I don’t think I paid more than $700 brand new.
Mines on the bottom my buds is on the left, G10 grips, ambi safety. LW trig. Target RS. etc.
An order of protection is just a piece of paper, until the K9 puts teeth into it.
Turns out the lady at Love Field has mental issues, and was supposed to be in therapy – but decided to not go.

She’s already asking to go back to work – while still in the hospital.
Fast recovery, sounds like a graze wound and am glad that she recovered.
Broke her cheekbone & came out by / in front of(?) her ear.
Another article had said she was going through some facial reconstruction surgery.
Her chief says she is one of his best officers, too.
