DC police fatally shoot armed woman in ‘special police’ uniform suspected of shooting neighbor
Woman in ‘special police officer’ uniform is suspected of shooting a female neighbor in the arm
By Julia Musto | Fox News
A woman who was wearing a “special police officer” uniform is dead after being shot by a police officer in the nation’s capital Saturday morning. The dead woman is suspected of shooting a female neighbor in the arm, before officers were called around 6 a.m. to the 800 block of Crittenden Street Northwest.
“Special police officers” in Washington, D.C., are approved by the city to work for private companies as security guards. Some are approved to be armed.
“Upon our arrival to this location, officers located a female – a victim who had been shot,” D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee said in a news conference. “Those officers rendered first aid to that victim. Simultaneously, other officers [who] responded to the scene encountered a female who was in a special police officers’ uniform [and] armed with a firearm. That female was acting erratically.”

Suspected burglar shot by Geneva Co. homeowner, sheriff says
by: Mike Gurspan
FADETTE, Ala. (WDHN) — Early Friday morning, a Wiregrass homeowner shot an intruder twice with a handgun — after telling him to leave and then a struggle between the two.Authorities say the suspect was in the process of burglarizing the rural residence when the homeowner awakened to a sound from the back door.
Emergency responders arrived at a trailer off Audy Lane in eastern Geneva County’s Fadette community, just after 3 a.m. this morning.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, had surgery at Southeast Health for the gunshots in his leg and abdomen. He is now reportedly in stable condition.

DC police fatally shoot armed woman
I have a right and a left arm and could I be shot for being armed?????????
A 20 ga Stevens break action single shot was my first firearm.
Wish I still had it.
“That female was acting erratically”
Armed or not they made the right decision….
Well, you know, that could be any of them. Just sayin’.
Yep, ol’ gal is “special” allright…a special kinda stoopid.
Too bad the homeowner didn’t deliver a trifecta of shots to the perp. Woulda saved the taxpayers some money.
The Love of Liberty will be in my heart until I die.
I’m all pumped up for that Stevans. Brings out the Savage in me.
It’s been a few freaky days in the National Capital. On Thursday a woman with her hands and feet tied leapt from an 8 story apartment to escape her abusive boyfriend. That was right around the corner from the urban sniper on Friday afternoon.
And Friday afternoon, some environmentalist lit himself ablaze in front of The Supreme Court.
As to (see what Hack did there?) this “Special Officer”, reports on local media is that she was not a “special officer”, so she was a poser.
And let’s not forget the crazy shot coming from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. WMAL had a clip this morning with Joe Biden saying that the military will be converting to all electric vehicles. How big of a battery do you need to operate an Abrams Tank?
The battery would likely be the size of a tank transporter trailer and take several days to fully charge. What I want to know is where are the going to create a world-wide system of charging stations.
So when do we start flying all electric military aircraft?
Air-to-air recharging would be a real barrel of laughs.
The proud but humble woman owned business that sells software to the federal government formerly located in Bethesda Maryland is currently working up a proposal to secure the EFTV (Environmentally Friendly Tactical Vehicle) contract with the DoD. Thinking outside the box, the Vice President of the company is proposing a system where Engineer Battalions would install chicken wire over the battle space, and then attach poles to the rear of the vehicles to provide power, much like you would see on the bumper cars at your local amusement park.
I get a chuckle hearing about “electric” locomotives.
They have been around for more than six decades.
Diesel engine driving a generator is the ultimate in both
control and efficiency of anything that moves.
They even kept the same control handle as the steam powered
locomotives just to please the engineers of the time.
I can see the same idea being used in the Abrams which would
result in “finer” control but who gives a shit about that when
you’re in hot and don’t care what you flatten.
Let’s not forget that AL Gore Junior once pimped the idea of hybrid and electric Tactical Vehicles for the US Military, and I wonder just how many millions of dollars will be funneled to shell companies owned by politicians’ cronies to “study” these vehicles and how much kickback will the Biden Family and their cronies get?
Follow the money!! I’d bet that Hunter Biden is in on the ground floor of ECVs(Electric Combat Vehicles). Maybe Joe’s brother will be the CEO of the electric provider?
The reason diesel electric works for train locomotives is in part a function of their size, weight, and the low friction of steel wheels on steel rails. I doubt that system would work in a 63 ton tracked tank, where internal space for the crew, fuel, and ammo is critical.
The regenerative braking is great but probably due
to being on rails and would not be helpful elsewhere.
Yeah, my Abrams comment was tongue in cheek for
exactly the reasons you state.
The Germans had some pretty large railway guns but
that idea is long gone.
Oh, this “Special Po-lice” ocifier is special alright. She rides the “short bus” wherever she goes.
Why do the phrases “love triangle” and “quit messin’ with my man” come to mind reading about the DC incident?
