Road rage: man attempts to leave crash scene, runs over woman photographing him

Vincent Jean, 56, got into an accident but tried to get away from the scene. However, the other driver, a 23-year-old woman, took pictures of him attempting to leave. Upon seeing that, Jean chased her with his vehicle, driving over a yard, and then ultimately ran over her twice. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Jean was arrested.

Witnesses told police Jean and the victim had been involved in a minor car crash in the area.
“After the accident, the male driver attempted to flee the scene and the victim, who was standing on the sidewalk, began taking photos of the suspect’s car in order to be able to identify him to the police,” prosecutors said.
Jean then allegedly unleashed his attack.
“The suspect drove onto the lawn and struck the victim,” officials continued, “then drove over her before backing up and deliberately running her over a second time.”
The victim was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, Jean allegedly fled the scene, but was spotted hours later sitting inside the same, now-damaged vehicle.
The Union County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Jean with: first-degree attempted murder; second-degree aggravated assault; third-degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; third-degree assault by auto; third-degree leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with serious bodily injury; third-degree endangering an injured victim and third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Bollwage said that Jean has used a car in a similar fashion against another person before.
“Under bail reform, we’re very concerned that he may be released. However, his prior records indicate he has done this in the past although no one was as severely injured. But he has attempted to use his vehicle in attacks in the past,” Bollwage said.

Actually, MIT Professor Charles Murray studied crime stats by race and concludes American Blacks commit crimes at rates that are 9 to 11 time their numbers when compared to whites and Asians. He attributed this to cognitive ability.

If you want to see some real examples of this daily, watch “The First 48” on the A&E channel on cable/satellite TV. There are usually at least four episodes aired, involving over a half dozen murders every day. Kudos to Tulsa PD’s homicide unit; it solves about 85% of its cases. With only a few exceptions, the victims are Black and the perpetrators are Black.
