I imagine that the lack of comments to my posts is due to the raging success of the forums, but I started to get a complex when someone sent an email to me that read, in its’ entirety:

You posted, and the world wept because no one gives a ______ what you think.

So, I thought I would give you a “behind the scenes” look of TAH from the point of view of COB and I when our posts go without comment love. Playing the part of Lilyea will be his body double, Grishnak.

OK, so what is it you guys want me to post about? Come on man, hit me with the clue bat.

(Also, if anyone knows where I can get the Rankin Bass Return of the King record, or preferably CD or download, kindly let me know. Got very nostalgic for my youth seeing this video. At one point I owned a record player and only the one record, this one.)

Don’t complain…they’re clicking the Google ads. We’ll all be eating off the dollar menu on August 1st.

Um…well…here’s a post to raise morale.

Here’s another – I plan to start a Comment Incentive Program, asking the Kenyan In Chief to float me a hundred bucks per email to write comments and improve your emotional state. My Comment-Bot can send you a hundred emails a day, which will make you feel special, and consequently help ME pay for that Lambo I ordered ( to save gas over my old gas-hog GM duelie.) Win-win!!

I care about what you have to say TSO…and sometimes I even read your posts =)

TSO:
While you and the other writers here do an excellent job of eviscerating the phony soldiers, much to all our delight, I have recently considered asking if one, or all, of you could come with a hero a week, from the Active duty forces. And even possibly add a second theme and do a hero a week from the Veterans of us out here. As I see it, it does not take an Alvin York, Audie Murphy or that sort, because, each and every one of us who raised his/her right hand to make the commitment is a hero. Some of us were called to perform and others of us were merely doing what soldiers do. (I use soldiers to mean all of our military personnel) An article like that on some sort of regular schedule would cause many of us to come over, read, and click those google ads in our attempt to keep the bar tab down for y’all.

TSO, Aren’t you supposed to be studying? There is a whip you know…..

Regarding your request for the info about the ROTK soundtrack, two things:

1. From the Rankin Bass website: “With the success of the feature film LORD OF THE RINGS and the recent releases of the RANKIN/BASS classics THE HOBBIT and RETURN OF THE KING on DVD, many have asked about the Soundtrack release. We are all for it. Releasing the soundtracks on compact disc would make perfect sense at this point. WARNER BROS. owns the specials and fans will have to lobby them.”

Hmm, you’re a lobbyist aren’t you?

2. In the meantime, do a search of Amazon.com using the search terms: and the second hit should be the LP available from $20.

Hope that helps.

Take two.

I propose asking more active duty soldiers to write a weekly update about op’s in Afghanistan or Iraq.

TSO,

Brother, if you don’t see a comment from me, it isn’t because I ain’t reading the columns. I buzz through here a couple times each day. Most of the time, if i haven’t got anything to say, it’s because you or other commenters have said it all and I would have nothing to add.

TAH is one of my daily reads, and I am grateful as h3ll to have all you guys writing and posting, because it restores my faith in this country. It lets me know that I ain’t alone out here in the northern piquet post. Sometimes, living here in the land of ice and SNOWE, it seems I’m surrounded by frikkin RINO’s and moonbats. You give me hope.

Thanks for all you do, and know that at least one old airdale reads what you have to say.

Respects,

Irish3

I usually check in 2 or 3 times a day as well but my sarcastic wit doesn’t quite hold a candle to the regulars here so I keep my 2 cents and I forward some of your posts to friends and family hoping to rile them up as much as I am about certain current events, so keep up the good work, it’s a thankless job sometimes..

Golly I wish I could hug you right now

No real comment, I just wanted to go on record stating my support for your excellent use of pop culture references that generally only I understand.

Aw,c’mon TSO. We still love ya. This is just one of the sites I scan on a daily basis. I’m so busy either blogging on my own site or nursing a hangover….hey I’m Irish, what can I say?
