I got some of the latest COVID-idiocy that seemed to be a bit much for my weekly dumb people post.

Connecticut suspect allegedly forges positive COVID test result to skirt pre-Christmas bond hearing

Deadliest virus of all time!

A Connecticut man with lengthy criminal record was arrested again for allegedly presenting a fake COVID-19 positive test result in order to avoid appearing for a bond hearing before Christmas.

Junior Jumpp, 31, of Hartford, Conn., was arrested Tuesday and newly charged with one count of forgery in the second degree and one count of fabricating physical evidence.

Prosecutors argue he illegally fabricated a positive COVID-19 test notification to avoid appearing before Superior Court Judge Maureen Keegan at a scheduled bond review hearing on Nov. 30.

Jumpp had been out on bond following his arrest in connection with “a number of criminal cases” pending in the New Britain Judicial District, according to an arrest affidavit. His bond conditions required that he not be arrested in connection with any other crimes for which probable cause is found.

Members of the Hartford Police Department arrested Jumpp on a warrant on Nov. 16 charging him with threatening in the second degree and breach of peace in the second degree.

Just ten days later, he found himself in trouble with the law again when members of the South Windsor Police Department arrested Jumpp again on Nov. 26 on a warrant charging him with interfering with an officer and breach of peace in the second degree. Jumpp was ordered to appear before Judge Keegan due to his non-compliance with conditions of release.

Jumpp emailed the judge directly that day pleading with her to allow him at least two weeks with his children before sending him back to jail. A day before his scheduled hearing, Jumpp’s defense attorney told investigators his client texted him a photo of a “positive COVID MyCare message.”

The lawyer took a screenshot and emailed it to the judge, who then excused Jumpp from the hearing. But a representative for Trinity Health of New England/ Saint Francis Hospital later confirmed to the court that the image was altered, pointing to the image’s date and Jumpp’s name.

Further review of COVID medical records obtained through a search warrant revealed that Jumpp’s MyCare account had been inactive, and he therefore would not have received any test notification.

Jumpp is currently being held on a $25,000 bond in this case. He has 11 pending cases at Superior Court, New Britain, and one pending case at Superior Court, Hartford, which is being transferred.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 3, 2022. Forgery in second degree and fabrication of physical evidence are both felonies punishable by between one and 5 years in prison and/or up to a $5,000 fine, according to prosecutors.

84-year-old Bihar man gets 11 Covid vaccine shots, caught while going for 12th

Bihar has reported some of the most bizarre cases related to the Covid-19 vaccination campaign — from dead people receiving messages of successful administration of the vaccine, to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amitabh Bachchan being listed as vaccinated on the Co-WIN portal.

In the most recent incident, an 84-year-old man from the state has claimed to have been inoculated with 11 doses of Covid-19 vaccines.

According to a report by IndiaToday, Brahmadev Mandal, a resident of Orai village in Madhepura district was caught before being administered the 12th dose. “I benefitted a lot from the vaccine. This is why I have been taking it repeatedly… The government has made a wonderful thing [vaccine],” Mandal reportedly said.

A retired postal department employee, Mandal allegedly submitted his Aadhaar card and his phone number on eight occasions and used his voter ID card and his wife’s phone number on the other three, the report stated.

“The matter will be thoroughly investigated to find out how he managed to take so many doses,” the civil surgeon of the district was quoted as saying.

The state has witnessed a sharp rise in Covid cases over the past week during which its active caseload has jumped by more than 20 times.

US science teacher arrested for vaccinating 17-year-old student

A New York school teacher with no formal medical qualification has been arrested for allegedly giving a Covid vaccine to a student, say officials.

Police say Laura Russo administered the dose at her home despite having no legal authorisation to give jabs, or consent from the boy’s parents.

Ms Russo, 54, who teaches biology, was held on New Year’s Eve and could face four years in prison if convicted.

The 17-year-old boy had reportedly wanted the vaccine.

Injections can be dangerous if administered incorrectly. Doctors and licensed medical workers have to verify that a vaccine is not counterfeit or expired. Patients should also be asked about their medical history and have their reaction monitored after a jab.

Police say it is unclear how Ms Russo obtained the alleged Covid vaccine, or what brand it is. Currently, the Pfizer-BioNTech jab is the only one authorised for Americans under 18 years old.

Video of the incident in Long Island appears to show Ms Russo telling the teenager: “You’ll be fine, I hope.”

“Here you go. At-home vaccine,” he says.

Officials say the boy’s parents called Nassau police after he came home and told them what had happened.

“She had obtained a vaccine,” said Nassau Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder. “That’s still under investigation on how she got it.”

The superintendent of Herricks High School, where Ms Russo has been working, said in a statement that the teacher “is a district employee who has been removed from the classroom and reassigned pending the outcome of the investigation”, reports CBS News, the BBC’s partner in the US.

Ms Russo is charged with unauthorised practice of a profession.

A court hearing has been scheduled for 21 January.

I wonder if that fella in Connecticut will try to Jumpp bail this time . . . .

Roh-Dog

I’m surprised they’re holding him! Standard SOP for our “criminal justice ‘system’” is to send the poor fella home with a cookie.
This deviation into the realm of deprivation of Jumpp’s due process (CT style) is probably just a solicitation for Ben Crump to bless the court with his presence, since now he’s done circling the corpses in GA , Mr Crump has free time to come up here and call us raysis. Which is catnip to these temperate yankee Unitarian Universalists.

There’s an illness in the minds of the individuals entrusted to operate this place.

Would’ve been released for the original charge.

Forging COVID test results? Life w/o parole.

Green Thumb

Yeah. My favorite part:

“His bond conditions required that he not be arrested in connection with any other crimes for which probable cause is found.”

I am in the wrong business.

KoB

Be a pretty big jump for any dad to be proud of that Junior.

Millions not wanting the jab and dumbass playing load’em up Larry. Dude you 84 years old. Not that much time left anyhow. There is such a thing as “too much of a good thing”, even if you believe the jab is a “good thing”.

Ms Thang’s union nominating her for “Teacher of The Year” in 5,4,3,2… Lawsuit from parents of the kid prolly already filed.

Commie-Tsar

IT’S TEH COVID PEOPLE!!! TAKE THE JAB AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN GET IT!!! NO JABS FOR THE BOOMERS!!!

Roh-Dog

I hope when you go for your 18th booster you get a syringe full of air there, Bubbles.

Teachers giving minors illegal drugs?! This is my shocked face.

I’m surprised after all that fun ‘the teacher’ and the young man didn’t drive to an abortion clinic next. That time of year they HAD to be running a Christmas sale.

Skivvy Stacker

Junior Jumpp.
Only a criminal could have a name like that.

Hondo

Not really. Every so often hilarious (and presumably unintentional) double-entendre names just happen.

During the 1970s-2000s, there was a short-track and NASCAR driver named – seriously – Dick Trickle.

There was also a USAF Brigadier General named Richard G. Head.

And given Churchill’s comments concerning Naval tradition, don’t even get me started regarding the term “Rear Admiral” – especially the term “Rear Admiral (Lower Half)”. (smile)

26Limabeans

Lets not forget Danang Dick. After all we are talking about CT here.

SKYJUMPER

Hondo, Dick Trickle was born and raised not far from my AO. He was a racing legend in these parts, but as you can guess, there were a lot of jokes about his name. Wonder what meme’s would have looked like if we had them back in the day. (smile)

Hondo

Trickle was indeed a helluva racer. It’s estimated that over his career, he entered over 2,200 races and won over 1,200 of them. That’s a career winning percentage of well over 50%.

Eggs

He was the only NASCAR driver (that I’m aware of) that had a cigarette lighter in his race car.

Yup. Used to light one up on caution flags.

CPT(P) Woody… she was attractive (hot) and irked about pinning-on shortly.

While at the Walmart Pharmacy this morning I noticed a few shelves
full of Covid test kits with a limit of 8 kits per customer.
I am assuming there is only one test per kit but didn’t check.
They were $21 so even my curiosity was not enough to fall for it.
If I’m sick I will know it for free…..

Fyrfighter

The ones they handed out at work had three tests per kit.. Don’t know if the ones you saw are different or not.

At least the teacher out on Long Island had lights in her house turned on, and if not it would have been a shot in the dark.
