By Kathy Carvajal
NEW YORK – An off-duty NYPD lieutenant was in critical but stable condition after he was shot multiple times while leaving a nightclub in Woodside, Queens early Thursday morning, said police. The suspect was shot and later died at a local hospital. At about 3:16 a.m., the officer was leaving club La Boom at 57th Street and Northern Boulevard when he was fired upon several times in what may have been an attempted robbery, said police. The gunman unloaded nine rounds striking the lieutenant in the chest.
The off-duty officer fired back eight times striking the suspected gunman once in the stomach and once in the leg. The suspect was pronounced dead about 20 minutes later at Elmhurst Hospital.
“He is lucky to be alive,” NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea said in a briefing from Elmhurst Hospital.

The NYPD cop stayed in the fight. So important to not just give up.
In my continuing proficiency training, I got close to a new personal best yesterday, shooting a left hand/right hand exercise. A 3 inch diameter shot group from 50 yards ain’t bad for a .22 Carbine Lever gun:

“Never say anything about the dead unless it is good.” Two (2) parasites on Society are dead…GOOD! A prayer offered up for the full recovery of the wounded LT. Some LTs might not can find their azz, in the dark, with both hands, a map, and a flashlight, but this one found his target and negated it. BZ to the two (2) LEOs for them taking out a big lot of trash too.
Hmmmm…That thar ZIP kinda reminds me of what might happen if another plasticised abomination (Glock) were to mate with a drive in movie theater speaker. We going back to fugly gunz?

U.S. Fire Arms ZiP .22, Possibly most horribiliest gun ever.
Reading the review, certainly sounds like it.
“USFA says ZiP is the code for The Future of Fun and claims that “The Future is Now”.
Someone has been listening to (and taking WAAAAY too seriously) their FireSign Theater “I Think We’re All Bozos on This Bus”.
“Do you remember the past?
“Yeeeeesssss”
“Do you remember the future?”
“Yeeeesssssss”
“Awwww, forget it”
(BOOOOOOOMMMMM!)
And no FFL curio and relic licence to own the Zip dip di dip gun.
