First it was Oklahoma. More States Defy DOD Covid Mandate

| December 16, 2021

No one was surprised when SecDef Austin denied a request by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt to exempt members of the state’s National Guard from the Defense Department’s Covid vaccine mandate.

Austin decreed that all members of the Defense Department’s service branches must comply with the vaccine order or jeopardize their service.

And that’s that. Or is it? Oklahoma is now suing the Biden administration over its federal coronavirus vaccine mandate for federal employees and the National Guard, the state’s Attorney General announced.

Five- FIVE! other State Governors have signed a letter to the Pentagon asking the Department of Defense to remove its coronavirus vaccine mandate on National Guard members.

“We write to request you withdraw part of your and the Service Secretaries’ directives to National Guard members in their Title 32 duty status concerning the COVID-19 vaccine,” the letter states. “We acknowledge your right to establish readiness standards for the National Guard for activation into a Title 10 status. However, directives dictating whether training in a Title 32 status can occur, setting punishment requirements for refusing to be COVID-19 vaccinated, and requiring separation from each state National Guard if unvaccinated are beyond your constitutional and statutory authority.”

Governor Mark Gordon of Wyoming, Governor Mike Dunleavy of Alaska, Governor Kim Reynolds of Iowa, Governor Tate Reeves of Mississippi, and Governor Pete Ricketts of Nebraska all signed the letter.

God Bless Texas.

Texas Governor Abbott refuses Pentagon vaccine mandate: ‘Have only President Biden to blame’

Five governors recently called on the Pentagon to rescind the mandate

By Peter Aitken

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott informed the Pentagon that he will not impose the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for the Texas National Guard.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on Aug. 25 directed all military branches to ensure service members receive the vaccine as numbers surged over the summer. Each branch of the military observed a different deadline, with the Air Force and Navy required to comply by Nov. 2 and Nov. 28, respectively.

Five state governors called on the Pentagon to rescind the vaccine mandate for National Guard members, but Abbott alone sent a letter to Secretary Austin clearly stating he will not enforce the mandate on his state’s service members.

“As Governor of Texas, I am the commander-in-chief of this State’s militia,” reads the letter. “In that capacity, on October 4, 2021, I ordered the Adjutant General of Texas to comply with my Executive Order GA-39.”

Seven states are now balking at Joe’s Handlers military mandate, and the Perfumed Princes, and now sadly Princesses, have to Do Something. The really interesting part is seeing who will take the lead in stemming the incoming tide* of more states joining in the mandate munity. This is not the path to a fourth star or high dollar civilian think tank gig.

Canute was the king who ordered the tide to stop rolling in, no? Seems to me his feet real wet.

Heh heh! Sent this to Mason just a bit bit ago. Sick minds DO think alike. If Mason ain’t paying attention we may get a twofer. *grin*

Again…The Unreconstructed Rebel in me says Bravo Zulu to these Guvs that are taking a stand against an increasingly oppressive FedDotGov. The Historian in me says, “Careful fellas, that stand against oppression didn’t work out real well last time that was tried.” Do believe that we are in a better position this time tho. And keep in mind, Texas became its on own Country by standing up to an oppressive grubermint “back in the day”. And there are all sorts of Artillery Platforms (Ground/Aerial/Floating/Person Portable ect) AND the people that CAN and WILL use those platforms. Wonder if FedDotGov will use the Rallying Cry “To Save The Union” this time?

Tread carefully, DotGov…We, The People, are getting awfully tired of your BS.

Marines just kicked out 103. Gotta wonder if the 30K others service wide that have refused the jab will be the only trained troops left to form the nucleus Cadre for the Red Dawn Troops?

If the Troops are MOS-Q’ed and reside in a Free State, the respective NG units should snatch them up.

Imho, they’re most likely made of the ‘right stuff’.

A ‘Welcome [back] Home’ if you will.

Governor Kim Reynolds of Iowa

God Bless Iowa too! Our governor hasn’t been in the news, but we’ve been pretty free during the Kung Flu Panic.

Any State willing to honestly care about the wellbeing of Her Warrior-class is OK by me. I ain’t got a fortune and most of my sacred honor has been thoroughly sullied by debauchery most foul, but what I got is yours, Free States.

Say the word ‘Liberty’ and I will be there before the sound ceases your lips to join you in the animated contest, countrymen!

LET FREEDOM RING UP IN DIS BI*CH!

Suprised DeSantis hasn’t joined in on this yet. He seems to enjoy thumbing his nose at Joe at every turn
