Jeremy Dewitte sentenced to 18 months in prison-He’s also parodied in a video game

Remember Jeremy Dewitte? He entered a plea deal and was subsequently sentenced to 18 months in prison. This took place in September. He received credit for 110 days that he served. He will be on supervised probation for 48 months. He won’t be able to to have any kind of security items during that time.
From WFTV9 ABC, September 17, 2021:
Dewitte, who ran Metro State Vehicle Protection Services, is accused of impersonating a police officer while providing funeral escorts.
He received 18 months behind bars and credit for 110 days time served.
He will have 48 months of supervised probation after his release.
He cannot possess guns of any equipment that can be used for law enforcement. He also cannot possess any type of security vehicle, equipment or uniforms.
Channel 9 has learned that Dewitte has fooled countless drivers into thinking they were moving out of the way for an officer.
Dewitte will also have his driver’s license suspended for six months after his release.
He must also have no contact with any named victim or witnesses from any case, except his wife.

The Orange County Deputy Sheriff, Sergeant Keith Vidler, was terminated from his position for “abuse of power” and “going after DeWitte” after being told to end his investigation into DeWitte.

Last I heard, Vidler was appealing the termination.
If you haven’t seen the video of the chair throwing incident in Chicago, it is worth watching as DeWitte lies over and over and sees nothing wrong with his actions. DeWitte later lied about the incident during an interrogation with Orange County and said that no charges had been filed, when in fact they had been.

That incident shows so much about him, his delusions, and his ability to lie from one moment to the next.

The video of him committing insurance fraud and lying to the police about a traffic crash is pretty entertaining too.
Looks like he’s getting sued for it. Hope he gets criminally charged too.

When I watched the videos of ol’ Jeremy’s court appearances, I knew he would end up for months of incarceration for his actions. This dude is a mental case. Fear of more prison time will ultimately be the only thing that deters his faux cop behavior in the future.
