Fight over parking spot leads to stabbing, wife uses baseball bat to defend husband
Joshua Yeage
A Visalia man was rushed to the hospital Thursday afternoon after his neighbor stabbed him multiple times outside their central Visalia apartment building. What sparked the violent altercation?
A parking spot.
Around 4:30 p.m., police arrived at a “chaotic scene” outside of an apartment complex on Jacob Street and Goshen Avenue, Lt. Jared Hughes said.
The victim, who wasn’t identified by police, was taken to Kaweah Health Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.
Bystanders administered first aid to the man who had been stabbed more than a half-dozen times and was “bleeding profusely” on the asphalt, witnesses said. A pool of blood remained as detectives gathered clues and interviewed witnesses.
The victim’s wife defended her husband with a baseball bat, striking the assailant and fending him off before officers arrived, according to multiple witnesses.

Good catch on a working linky, Tally. Spotted one the other day, hiding behind a paywall. Damn shame that Good Boy will have to be medically retired. I feel his pain.
Pro tip for dirtbags…Off Duty LEOs are everywhere. Another pro tip…NO LEO is ever totally off duty. Hope the dirtbag really suffered from his multiple gunshot wounds.
Looks like Mrs. Thang hit a Home Run against the dirtbag that got all stabby. Batting at 1000. Wonder if the Braves or Astros tried to sign her up?
Interesting article on the “other” type of K(P)9, an SBR gunz. Who wouldn’t like to have a 9 inch barrel for their “gun”?
‘Ed, who died in the Visilia story?
Just making sure you’re paying attention, Tox.
👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
I’m thinking it was too much blood in the caffeine stream at oh-dark-too-damn-early. But considering the nigh impossible job you have being writer, admin and herder of cats at TAH, you’re forgiven.
Someone who who should’a died was the reporter/writer on the St Louis story.
“He then got a gun out of the car…..”
Who “he”? The perp? Or the po-po? That story is as clear as mud. Where’s Sister Mary with her knuckle busting ruler when you need her?
