VIDEO: 2 clerks take on would-be robbers, turn gun on them during wild convenience store scuffle
Police are searching for two men who tried to rob a convenience store and failed when two store clerks fought back, turning the store into a wrestling ring.
The attempted robbery happened on Oct. 7 at 2:40 a.m. when two men came into the store in the 2800 block of Reed. Police said the men first acted like customers, but when one of the men walked around the counter, he aimed a gun at the clerks and demanded the money from the cash registers.
Both clerks then fought with the suspect and were able to take his gun from him. While fighting the suspect, one of the clerks was also able to retrieve his own gun, pointing it at the suspect numerous times during the scuffle.

Pennsylvania mall shooting thwarted by legally armed bystander: ‘He is a hero’
The Lancaster mall shooting left multiple with non-life- threatening injuries
By Emma Colton
A legally armed bystander is being heralded as a hero after he helped thwart a mall shooting in Pennsylvania.“I think that helped a lot. He is a good person, I think. I don’t know what he did before, but at that moment, he is the one that should be – he is a hero,” Hana Ali, a witness of the incident at the Park City Center Mall in Lancaster, told WGAL.
The shooting unfolded Sunday at the Lancaster mall when a 16-year-old suspect reportedly got into a fight with another person and pulled a gun. The teen filed several shots, while multiple people struggled over getting the gun, police said.

Good guy with a gun, despite the mall’s policy. Thanks again for the links, Gun Bunny.

Until wearing a firearm, daily, is as natural as wearing a shirt, one is not really fully armed.
When knowing that a firearm can be as essential as using an ink pen to sign one’s name, true self defense will be in play.

My current thoughts on stepping in to help in an active shooter situation:
Do the deed, stop the shooter, then, if possible, fade into the woodwork and disappear. Don’t need the po-po hassles, the prosecutor criminal charges, the grand jury, the doxxing, the civil lawsuits (“mah babie! he wuz such a gud boi! why didn’t you jus’ shoots him in teh hand!”)
All part of The Four Esses:
Suppress (if possible)
Shoot
Shovel
Shut Up
^THIS^!!! and what Frankie Cee said. I don’t even walk to the mailbox without packing. And I live in a very, very, very, safe, low crime area. And when I go to the little big town, I got a back up to the back up…and a throw down. Just saying. Gotta chuckle at these Billy Bob Badasses swaggering around with their open carry. FIRST (ht 2 Roh-Dog) thought that goes thru my mind is, “yep, you draw their fire there Mr. Target, I’ll be firing from behind this end cap.
Love these stories of Citizens fighting back against the dirtbags. ‘Specially love the ones that take the weapon from the dirtbag and turn it on the perp.
Nice Varmint Vaporizer you gots there Mister. It even comes with what every man wants…an enlarged knob! (smirks at a sideways glance and tsk tsk tsk from OAM and nobunny)
When I had to be NYS Certified for carrying a fire arm, The instructor tell us that if your in a deadly physical force shooting situation at work, first thing you do is say that you need to go to a hospital to get checked out which gives you time to get your shit together for questioning from Law enforcement.
