Southwest Ohio police shooting: Man fatally shot tells officers ‘I will shoot you in your head’

A 41-year-old man died Sunday night after a shootout with police responding to a domestic violence call in Miami Twp.

The man who died was Fredrick A. Thomas, Miami Twp. Police Chief Charlie Stiegelmeyer said during a Monday afternoon media briefing at the police station.

Miami Twp. police were dispatched around 9:09 p.m. in response to a 911 call for help at 8908 Fox Glove Way in the South Point Villas condominium complex. During a 911 call, a woman could be heard screaming and another female was yelling “get off of her” and “get away from me.” When a dispatcher asked the caller who she was arguing with, the caller said, “My husband.” She said yes when asked if they were “physically fighting” but said there were no weapons, according to dispatch records.

Minutes later, at approximately 9:13 p.m., a man called 911 and reported hearing two or three gunshots that appeared to be coming from that address.

“Dementrius” Jackson. (note modification of spelling)
Seems an appropriate name for the one killed on Lodi St.
Now where’s CCR to sing about it?
And Claw, if you’re available to give us a Whiz Wheel score on Mr Jackson, with all appropriate multipliers (DAM for sure. Possibly BLDAM?), we would be appreciative. Thank you.

Don’t speak of the dead unless you can say something good. Two (2) dirtbags are dead…GOOD!

That L(ittle) C(ap) P(istol) is just so adorable. If you gave it blue or yellow bullets would it swell up to full size?

Here you Tox…A Salute to you…and all the Sky Soldiers!

Gun Bunny,
Ya just hadda go there, and dredge up the memories (yes, I sad “memories”, NOT “mammories”). Nuttin’ bad, ain’t gonna set of a case of the PTS of D. Just some sadz.
I look at those eternal young’uns, images captured on film. I was like them once, young, strong, and full of vinegar.
And the equipment they used and carried. Being commo in support of grunts, DATs, CDATs, and Gun Bunnies, I used a lot of that myself. And repaired a lot of it as well (can you say “PRC-77”? I knew you could)
So thx, GB, for stirring up the mud and the memories. Thx.
Now I gotta go get a kleenix & an allergen. Damned dust.

“Dementrius Jackson” (taken out via the Head Shot Route) spins up a BLDAM/DRT score of 33 x 5 = 165 on the Whiz Wheel®™.

Telling a cop “I will shoot you in your head” definitely puts you on the fast track to the Dirt Nap.

My Rohrbaugh R9 9MM is the same size or a bit smaller than the LCP 380 series which came out way before the LCP’s BUT, The slide doesn’t lock back after the last round and has the europian/Colt .25 pocket pistol mag release under the grip. You have to drive out a drift pin to take it apart and the recoil spring is so tight that you need two men and a boy to re install it so The owner of the company recommends using a pair of channel lock pliers to capture/compress the spring to put it back into the slide. I bought a pair of channel lock pliers and notched both jaws out so they could fit around the front end cap and base of the small collar. Shot it once at the range and that was it. If I still had my U-Boot conning tower art book, I would look for the Rohrbaugh owners family crest which is on the grips. fits nice in the pocket and I started carrying my Springfield XDE .40 since Im gaining more range of motion on my non shooting arm.
