Relieved Space Force Base Commander Defended By Wesley Clark

| June 8, 2021

Remember LTC Lohmeier, who was recently relieved of command by Space Operations Command commander LTG Stephen Whiting due to loss of trust and confidence? So does Retired Army Gen, former NATO supreme allied commander who served more than 30 years before retiring in 2000. And running a failed presidential run in 2004, but that’s another story.
Lohmeier’s sins? He went on a conservative podcast to promote his self-published book, Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military. Apparently the book alleges that Marxist ideologies are rapidly creeping into the U.S armed forces.
Enough. OAM sends.

Ret. Gen. Clark comes to the defense of the relieved Space Force commander, agrees with his assertions

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The military career of a Buckley Space Force Base commander remains in limbo after comments he made on a podcast last month got him in hot water.

Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier was relieved of command of the 11th Space Warning Squadron after promoting his self-published book, which asserts a neo-Marxist agenda in the military.

Lohmeier believes the military’s efforts to teach diversity, equity and inclusion are rooted in so-called “critical race theory,” which he says stems from Marxism, and instead of uniting is dividing the military.

Lohmeier, a 2006 Air Force Academy graduate, was removed by Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, Space Operations Command commander, because of Lohmeier’s comments on the podcast and “due to loss of trust and confidence in his ability to lead,” according to a statement the Space Force shared with Gazette sister paper, the Washington Examiner.

Whiting initiated a command directed investigation on whether Lohmeier’s comments constituted prohibited partisan political activity, according to a Space Force statement. Much of the discussion and contention surrounding critical race theory comes from the political right.

A spokeswoman with for the secretary of the Air Force confirmed last week that Lohmeier remains under investigation and said there is no estimated time when a decision will be reached.

Retired Army GEN Wesley Clark, former NATO supreme allied commander who served more than 30 years before retiring in 2000, said he kept his political views to himself during his career but would offer them up in private if a senior officer asked.

“Right now there is no question in my mind that the current administration is yielding to so many liberal forces … that it is putting the military in a tough spot because the military is built on the principle of lethality,” Clark said. “And I’m not sure that diversity and inclusion and equity are all part of that lethality equation.

Thanks, OAM. I’m afraid it’ll take another Revolt of the Admirals to slow the rot.

Did they exchange hats or was the Space Force ordered to stop the Russians from going to the moonbase?

You’d of thought that an ossifer that pointed out factual evidence would be commended ‘stead of cashiered. Or maybe even given another little piece of Bling for, you know, following the Oath taken by us all. That Oath swearing/affirming to defend the Constitution against ALL enemies, Foreign AND domestic…

Maybe I’m wrong, but I see no partisan politics in pointing out an obvious truth that an internal danger exists. BZ to Gnrl Clark. Under the current anointed regime, this LTC’s career is toast.

KoB – the idea that this could be called partisan politics is everything that is currently wrong in the country.

Testify you Adorable Deplorable!

Don’t forget that they relieved him first then started the investigation!
Sounds partisan to me.

I believe the article misquotes Comrade Whiting. In the article, the end quote is after the word lead, i.e, “due to loss of trust and confidence in his ability to lead,” Proper and honest quotation is “due to loss of trust and confidence in his ability to lead according to”, and it should include the obvious next words, “the dictates of The Party”.

Perhaps there is a perception in the general public and in the other branches the Space Force is not a real branch and therefore this doesn’t matter. Regardless, this is a sworn officer of the United States Military who is being punished for what every one in every branch swears to do, uphold and defend the Constitution.

Anyone who does not understand that Marxism is an existential threat to this country is a fool or a stooge. I have yet to meet or even hear of a self-proclaimed Marxist, Democrat Socialist or Communist that isn’t all about taking what others have first and foremost for themselves. Of course it is in the name of equality, fairness and justice but those words don’t actually mean what they pretend to have them mean.

In a conversation with me, saying “well, I am a Socialist (or any of the cute euphemisms) guarantees I not only disregard your opinion and view you as profoundly stupid, I view you as an enemy.

How fucked are we that Weasely Clark gets this but Cho Bei Din doesn’t?

Really, think about the very concept that Clark is ahead of the crowd on anything.

Now I am actually afraid.

I’m sure that CheOC will be providing him the talking points soon.

After all, she is an expert on everything.
