Oh, here we go: bringing back excessive oversight is now allowed by the Biden admin. Biden has signed an EO overturning the oversight of regulations that rule businesses. Many of these regulations have been out of date relative to methods used in specific fields of work, such as construction of anything at all. And starting a project may become even harder than before, or may violate property ownership rights with no recourse for the property owner.

Why was it unnoticed? Because it was swept under the rug when he was signing all those pieces of paper under the watchful eyes of the TV cameras.

Read the full article at the link. You do have to ask what justification there is in telling someone he can’t put a new roof on his home unless he uses government-approved materials that are not as protective as the old stuff – but they’re government-approved.
It may be cynical on my part to say this, but I did wonder just how long it would take to set the economy back even further than it has already gone. I have been enlightened.

Trump’s deregulation, pro drilling stance and tariffs took the brakes off the economy. We are unlikely to ever see growth like that again in our life times.

UK & Europe did away w/ mass mail voting yrs ago. Good idea.
The State Secy of State position is probably right below Governor in importance. They control how elections are conducted. The Dems have focused on this for yrs.
Per the site below Germany, Switzerland, Poland, the UK except NI, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, and Iceland allow for postal voting without having to provide a reason why. Austria, Ireland, Lithuania, the Netherlands (70+ yo), Slovenia and Spain allow it for prisoners, military, or for health reasons. Then there’s mobile voting, where the ballot box comes to the voter, proxy voting, and early voting.
Anyway, seems Europe and the UK did not do away with mass mail voting years ago.

and Biden fired the head of the National Labor Relations Board at the behest of his union supporters. 10 months into a 4 year term but let’s not protect the workers, let’s protect the unions.

One of the best – the absolute best – moves Trump made was his “2-fer-1” requirement for regulations. An agency was required to eliminate 2 regulations for every one new one. As most regs are redundant, superfluous, or ridiculous, this was an easy thing and businesses were not caught in bad regulations.
The Congress should also take up and change the Chevron Deference doctrine, but that is not going to happen as they want agencies to make laws and regs through unelected and appointed officials rather than through Congress.
The destruction of Americas middle class is once again well underway.
Perhaps this is the best way to explain it.
The elites desire to live in leisure at the expense of the middle class. They will weaponize the poor to do so.

No, better to go to the approved big boxco outlet for your second class food and merchandise comrade. After all, their wealth is dependent on the wall street corruption.
