What’s so “Unique” about Judge Sotomayor?

| May 26, 2009

I know all about her “compelling life story”. If you ate one Cheeto for every time you hear that over the next few weeks you will be a certified fat ass in no time. I don’t recall ever hearing the phrase “compelling life story” when Clarence Thomas was being nominated. But what should we be looking for in a Supreme Court Justice?

Hispanic – Check
Female – Check
Far left activist – Check

But instead of focusing on what a particular jurist looks like, why don’t we look closer at judicial philosophy?

Because they are all the same. They are almost always rooted in deep northeastern, Ivy League, liberal ideologies.

Check this out:
John Roberts – Harvard
Antonin Scalia – Harvard
Anthony Kennedy – Harvard
David Souter – Harvard
Stephen Breyer – Harvard
Clarence Thomas – Yale
Samuel Alito – Yale
Ruth Bader Ginsburg – Columbia
John Paul Stevens – Northwestern

(I know Northwestern isn’t Ivy League but it’s damn close.)

Given that she is nominated to replace a far left lunatic, her addition to the court does nothing except help even the balance of power between Harvard and Yale.

I say she should receive 100% Congressional support.

She saved baseball didn’t she?

it was Kennisaw Mountain Landis who saved baseball…’cause he was a bad motherf*****

Compelling? WTF! At least they’re being semi-honest. Everything in the current regime is based on compulsion.

And one must assume that by now you have heard her infamous quote on the radion interview – that no white male could ever be as fair in decision making as a Latina woman who had been through a hard life.

Maybe they should also appoint David Duke, you know, for balance.

Refuse to even hear arguments in a discrimination case involving white firefighters. Check!!
Have it thrown in your biased face by the SCOTUS when they agree to hear the case? Check!!
So, what makes her views good enough to be seated on the SCOTUS? She’s a Latina female. Two quotas fulfilled.

You sir, have the common, ill-bred manner of a Yalie. I would assume the sloping forebrow and narrow-set eyes of the criminal classes. I have some phrenology lectures from my days assigned to the Prussian consulate in Siam that would bear this out, but I won’t bore you with the details.

Continue, if you must, your petty tirades and defamations against your betters in the Ivy Leagues…I leave you to your squabbles and the vicissitudes of your yellow journalism…I have plans to make for my eventual overthrow of Madagascar.

I bid you good day sir.

((In all seriousness, I cannot even begin to express how much the idea of appointing justices to the bench that discern justice by emotion over cold, hard, intellectually rigorous application of pure law…but hey, why maintain the discipline of hundreds of years of civilized society when we can steer the country with Hope instead of logistical planning?))

PS: Kennisaw Mountain Lendis indeed saved baseball and is rightfully deserving of generous praise…also? Best. Middle name. Ever.

COB6, see the video of her “explaining” how judges are the ones who actually make policy, but don’t let the average dupes and dopes know that. She’s also condescending along with ill-tempered, racist and lazy.
