Clinton: Bush begging pathetic
Firmly detached from reality, Hillary Clinton called the President pathetic for “begging” for lower oil prices among the OPEC nations last week. (Breitbart link);
Democratic White House hopeful Hillary Clinton on Tuesday accused President George W. Bush of “begging” for cuts in oil prices in “pathetic” encounters with Gulf leaders.
The former first lady hit out at the US president as he wrapped up a tour of the Middle East, during a 2008 Democratic presidential campaign debate here.
“President Bush is over in the Gulf now begging the Saudis and others to drop the price of oil,” Clinton said. “How pathetic.”
“We should have an energy policy right now, putting people to work in green collar jobs as a way to stave off the recession, moving us towards energy independence.”
You’re right, dumbass, we should have an energy policy that moves us to independence. So why did you and your colleagues in the Senate block drilling in ANWR? Why hasn’t the Senate come up with it’s own energy policy, since so many Senators seem to want to demand a policy with no constructive solutions?
Why didn’t your stupid husband move us towards energy independence while prices were low – he had eight years. Why is Cuba, with the help of China drilling off of our coast in the Gulf, yet we can’t? Who do you think will do a more environmentally safe job – us or those third world goof balls?
Why haven’t we built a single refinery since 1977 when we all understand that supply is the problem with prices, but oil is bottlenecked at the refineries running at near-maximum capacity?
Pathetic is criticism without a substantial discussion about solutions. What have Democrats done to relieve consumers’ oil concerns besides raise CAFE standards? Where’s the substance, Hillary?

“Where’s the substance,Hillary”? Democrats have no fortitude, ethics, patriotism, or integrity. Substance is just another item missing from their small collection of traits.
