North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been in a coma for months and all his recent public appearances were faked, a South Korean official says in a new report about the reclusive despot.
Chang Song-min, a former aide to late South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, alleged that Kim has become seriously ill amid speculation about his limited public appearances this year.
The former aide now claims Kim fell into a coma months ago and that his subsequent appearances were recorded previously, according to the UK’s Sun.

A South Korean diplomat is speculating that North Korean leader Kim Jung Un has fallen into a coma and that his sister, Kim Yo Jong, is poised to take the rogue nation’s reins.
Chang Song-min, a former aide to South Korea’s late president Kim Dae-jung, made the sensational claims to South Korean media, according to the New York Post.
Chang suggested that Kim is in a coma, “but his life has not ended.”
“A complete succession structure has not been formed, so Kim Yo-jong is being brought to the fore as the vacuum cannot be maintained for a prolonged period.”
Chang’s allegation comes just days after South Korea’s spy agency said the North’s 36-year-old leader had delegated part of his authority to his close aides, including his younger sister, the Yonhap News Agency reported.

Saw this last night, before they allowed comments. 10K + now. It could get very interesting, and could go either way. Smart move on her part would be to let Trump start building resorts on the seacoast of NK, take the money she most probably has ratholed in a Swiss Bank Account, and build her a hard site in the Rocky Mountains somewhere. Somehow I don’t see that happening. Personally, I’d hate to think that I would have to live my life wondering when and which one of my trusted followers would take me out.

The end of dynastic rule never goes well. This will only end with blood being spilled in the halls. Or maybe I’m wrong and Kims little sister will take the country in a new direction? Or China will find a pretext to invade? Just one little spark.
The -last- thing China wants is 20 million starving Communist fanatics within China.
Quite simply, 20 million mouths would eat the life out of China. They have no means to take up that burden. None. They net-import food now.

They like their brand of Communist brainwash. They don’t want Kim’s brand.
Watch. China will make their border a death zone if the Nork regime falls apart. They will drive them south to Seoul they can.
And China might not have enough firepower to turn that northbound tsunami. Contemplate -that-.
So, China will do whatever they can to prop up their fraternal communist allies, short of holding the feedbag.
Hmmm; could be; others (or maybe just the guys at strategypage.com) think China would feel a traditional “big brotherly duty” to sweep up the pieces of a collapse.

Concur that China doesn’t want to be flooded by refugees from North Korea.
China has a “large number” Army. That does not equal “able to move most of it anywhere”.
The problem in a “Nork Collapse” is that a swarm of spread-out humanity walking north, all at once, is not the same problem as a million-man Army.
Unless China -starts- with “massacre” , then most of them get into China and disperse. That is a much larger problem. This isn’t 1950. Or 1989. The world watches, and they need goodwill. For now.

Deja vu. Didn’t we get these “reports” a few months back too? Starting to think we have some people in South Korea that like to scream “WOLF!”
The reports today appear consistent with those from a few months ago, Mason. Those reports said Fatboy Kim had recently become seriously ill, with some saying he was comatose. The reports today say he’s been in a coma for “a long time”.
I have no idea whether the reports (then or now) are true or not. But there is precedent: when Andropov was on his multi-month “long final” prior to his demise, the Soviet media was either silent about his health or passed off his issues as a “heavy cold”.
Something similar could be happening here. Or not. Time will tell.
Speculating that he never got better and they needed 4 months to figure out how to “fix” this.

China would totally freakout over a hostile ROK on their border. If -Swiss- rifle clubs settled in a DMZ between them, they -might- not invade.
