Florida homeowner utilized Second Amendment right when he killed intruder: sheriff
Ronald Fleet, 55, was killed Saturday
By Robert Gearty | Fox News
A homeowner was “utilizing his Second Amendment right to protect himself and his family” when he shot dead a man who broke into his home with a gun, a Florida sheriff said.
The homeowner acted in self-defense when he killed Ronald Fleet, 55, in Land O’Lakes Saturday afternoon, Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said.
“Any loss of life is tragic, but the victim was utilizing his Second Amendment right to protect himself and his family from the fear of Ronald, who was carrying a gun and kicking in the door,” Nocco said, according to Fox 13 Tampa. “I can’t imagine the fear they were going through.”
A member of the homeowner’s family was Fleet’s estranged wife, Nocco said, according to reports.
He said the woman was divorcing Fleet, who went to the home enraged that the homeowner was supporting her during the litigation.

Poor victims and weapons choice selection skills, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes. I’ve no doubt liberal Denver will have Mr. Phillips all healed up in time for his acquittal.

Not a true FGS article, DW&Ws, at least yet. What caught my eye on this one is down in the data, where it’s announced the number of homicides for Durham this year is 18, down from last year’s 22. Fewer is better, of course, especially in a small, sleepy Southern city of 254,620 as of 2016. Wonder what they’re doing to stem the tide.

That’s one way to get EVERYTHING in an uncontested divorce.
Are we going to have to start applying Kalifornication descriptions to Colorado? “Land of granola; fruits, nuts, and flakes”.
Very similar on a smaller scale. Thousands of hippies moved there in the ’60s and ’70s and you find pockets of unreality all over (the largest of which has to be Boulder.) Most of the state is pretty red, but the politics are dominated by the big cities which are swinging blue.
Tail wagging the dog.
May not be a true FGS but you can bet that WW is grinning. A “quad coup” count Trumps a trifecta. Every.damn.time!
Floriduh man got him a quick trip to hell. Shouldn’t been so fleet to think that she was still into him. After awhile, dippy, they get real tired of being beat upon.
Maybe Denver should have pyled on the last train to Clarksville instead of meeting at the bus station. Wonder if there is a relation between him and Ol’ Chief Snaggle of Tooth Nathan “Viet Nam Times” Phillips?
Durham murder rate down cause everybody is getting shot by the COVID Bullet. And with that raysiss statue gone, not as many are being “triggered.” Get some reparation money flowing and the murders of Black Men by other Black Men will stop completely.
Just had to throw that Webley Linky out there didn’t ya? Knowing I’d be all over it like a Gun Bunny on a new Blakely. I needs me one of them with the bayonet attachment. I always thought that the Webley did a fair enough job stopping some Zulu Warriors.
