He’s six years old, stood between an angry dog and his kid sister, and got his face chewed for it.

He likes geology and rocks, and is very protective of his kid sister.

From the article:  When a six-year-old boy saw his little sister being attacked by a dog he didn’t hesitate to jump in and protect her.

Bridger from from Cheyenne, Wyoming in the US has been dubbed a hero after he selflessly stepped in to stop a dog charging toward his sister.

“On July 9, my 6-year-old nephew Bridger saved his little sister’s life by standing between her and a charging dog.

“After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe,” Bridger’s aunty, Nikki Walker, wrote on Instagram. – article

90 stitches later and he’s still going strong.  The mold that made him was broken on his arrival.

    Anyone can be brave when defending what they love.

    True bravery is defending what is right, even when you don’t especially like it.

    Actually, if I remember correctly, there are like three levels of bravery or something.

    1) Defending oneself is the easiest. Every one would do that one.

    2) Defending what you love is easy, but harder than defending oneself. Depends on what kind of people you are.

    3) Defending what it is right, even though you might not like it, is the hardest.

    And of course there are degrees in between, measuring how much or what it could cost you to defend. I think it is call the risk factor.

    Anyway, it has been years since I read the Gates of Fire.

      Not everyone -is- brave when the moment comes.

      -six- years old and he did right, facing what for a six year old was snarling monster.

      He took a chewing meant for his sister, then got her clear. He didnt go get help. He was help.

      Someone enlist him Infantry in about 11 more years.

    I unloaded my .38 in rottweiler after it attacked my kids. Son (7) shoved her (5) under a car after it ripped off her Levi’s.
    Owner was a asshole and had she been horribly bit, I’d still be confined at Chowchilla womens prison…
