Wounded security guard fatally shoots man and woman outside Riverside nightclub
RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A man and a woman were killed early Monday morning in a shootout with a security guard outside a Riverside nightclub, leaving the guard wounded, police said.
The man and woman died at the scene, Riverside Police officer Ryan Railsback said. Their names were withheld, pending notification of their relatives. Police were unsure of the relationship between the man and woman.
The security guard was hospitalized in stable condition and was expected to survive, Railsback said. His name was not released.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. at El Calentano in the 10300 block of Arlington Avenue.
The club owner told FOX 11 that before the shooting, the man and women were kicked out of the establishment because the man was reportedly acting belligerent.
The pair left in their vehicle and drove around before returning to the area where they reportedly shot the security guard in the leg from inside their vehicle.

I own a FN 5.7. I wouldn’t carry it concealed, as there is another pistol I would carry, But, if I were invited to a gunfight, this would be the pistol I would bring.
“…’cause 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.” Drunk and teh stoopid is no way to go thru life. Oh…wait… their journey is over. And society is better off for it.
Now next door homeboy is lucky he wasn’t assaulting my Baby Sister. He wouldn’t need an EMT Ambulance, he’d of needed the coroner and a hearse.
Cool linky on the self defense stories. Got lost over there for a bit. Part of your nefarious plan, wasn’t it.
Speaking of nefarious, slick move on the sleight of hand gun pr0n pics. Here we are thinking we gonna see maybe a nice drum fed Tommy Gun or a Home Defender Shottie and up pops a plasticised abomination of an FN. I guess a 20 round pistol that will penetrate 22+ inches of gelatin is ok if you are into that sort of thing. Lot to be said for one that will make a hole big enough to pass the mead filled skull of your enemy thru without getting the sides wet.
Today’s visit would of included a stop here: ALL ABOARD!!!!! DAAAAAAAAANNMMIIITT!!!!!!!!

Nice Thompsom sub gun. I shot one aboard the OKIE 3 while underway during firearms quals. the ones the Navy had used stick mags and a wood horizontal grip under the short barrel just forward of the mag. When brinks merged with US trucking Armored car div. their were pics in the dispatch office of these guys holding tommy guns and wearing crushed style NYPD motorcycle caps, Sam Brown belts with the strap going over the shoulder, trousers “ballooned” out at calf level and puttees. Rough looking bunch of guys and most likely WW1 vets. Pics were from the 1920’s. Two Thompsons were found under the truck ramp where there was a small range awhile before I started there in 1970 and were taken to ATF Hq in 90 Church St.
