Cops: Robbery victim chases suspect through Roswell, points him out to police

A man accused of selling fake phones to unsuspecting people in Alpharetta and Dunwoody is out on bond after being chased down by an unhappy customer following a transaction in a Target parking lot, authorities said.According to Roswell police, an officer and her recruit were on patrol when they were flagged down by a man who told them he was robbed by the driver of the car in front of theirs.
The robbery occurred after he and a friend arranged to buy a new iPhone from someone they met on the “OfferUp” app, police said in a news release.
After handing over $640, the man noticed his new phone was “displaying foreign characters and glitching,” police said. When he asked for his money back, the seller refused, allegedly flashing a handgun and threatening to shoot him if he didn’t back away.

Armed protesters ‘take over’ Atlanta Wendy’s parking lot where Rayshard Brooks was killed

Armed protesters stood guard on Tuesday at an Atlanta-area Wendy’s, the site where Rayshard Brooks, a black man shot twice in the back by an Atlanta police officer, died earlier this month.Earlier in the day, a group of people had “taken over” the burned-out property in South Atlanta, according to local reports.
People living in the area also have complained that the protesters who remained were no longer peaceful, but instead were using the space for their own gain and at times blocking people on the street from getting by.
They claimed the Atlanta police weren’t doing much to solve the problem, making life for those living in the neighborhood a living nightmare.

Buyer beware; for those of us who don’t speak Latin. Not sure what some of these phones go for but the $1K range rings a bell. Everybody likes a bargain but a $350 discount should ring a large warning bell. “Customer” lucky he didn’t get his damn fool self kilt.

The little drop dead gorgeous Korean/American Girl that assists my financial man lives just a coupla air miles from there. She told me the crap is spreading out into all the neighborhoods around that area, is not being covered by the news and the po po are nowhere around. Her Grandfather had been on the wrong side of the line when Korea was FIRST divided and fought with the Americans during the war. He survived Chosin and fell back with the US Forces and was later able to extradite other family members. Talk about a family that hates Chinese Communists.
