Gregory Charles Banks; the phony just passing through
So one of our readers is a Mason up in Connecticut and this dude passes through his lodge on the way back from his combat assignments. Sometimes he’s in ACUs, other times he’s wearing his blues, like in the picture above. Of course, he’s Special Forces (isn’t everyone, these days) and in addition to his duties as an Army officer, he’s also a counselor with two offices. The man is a freakin’ machine.
Well, he didn’t turn up in any of my databases, but, you know, he’s probably so secret squirrel that he wouldn’t, but CID can’t find him either. Nor can NPRC;
We’re told that his lodge just threw him a big celebration for his recent award of the Bronze Star Medal so obviously, he loves attention – so here is all of the attention you could ever want, Greg-baby. It looks to me like he stole a midget’s jacket.

I emailed these pictures to our counselor friend, Greg Charles Banks and asked if these are not him in the photos, and he hasn’t answered back. I guess he’s going with “identity theft” as an explanation.
OK, I just got an email from him and he admits that this is him in this picture taken at the lodge not wearing the uniform;

I got it all figured out.
OK … We have photos of a person in uniform who looks exactly like Greg Banks at the lodge. And Greg Banks has admitted that he is in lodge photo (standing in back on his own left) above and he is not wearing a uniform.
Based on this information alone, there is only one logical explanation.
There is an impersonator of Greg Banks who has the same birth date, exacting appearance and he seems to frequent the same places the REAL Greg Banks is seen at.
So, I have solved the case.

After reading all and reviewing the photos, I suspect the “researchers” here have hooked another “grand prize world record trophy” to reel in. The weigh in is perhaps a few ounces less then WD Church. But who knows as the denial and buffoonery rolls out he may add a few ounces to his fishy ilk. Reminds me of the reality TV program “Wicked Tuna.” Set the brake correctly, reel in a bit, then net it.

Mr. Banks, you have a practice to protect. You have Masonic brothers and I would assume, a family. The posts here are not threats, they are promises to act based on the truth that has been exposed. This matter, though it may be difficult for you, can only be resolved by you. A simple email to the administrator is all it takes. An email stating what you have done, that it was wrong and a sincere apology to all veterans from whom you have stolen valor. As hard as that seems I am sure it is far better than the possible damage to your career and relationships with those in your life. I would highly encourage you to take a moment and consider the options offered to you to bring this to a swift resolution. I speak only for myself.

King Hiram’s Lodge yanked the photo(s) of him posing in Uniform. They know they have a fraud in their midst, now what will they do about it.
Gregory Charles Banks, you and no one else posed in that Uniform. It is quite clearly you. Perhaps now would be a good time to admit to portraying yourself as something you are not and apologise for it.
Actually, Greg, it is YOUR responsibility to notify law enforcement of when your identity is stolen. It is YOUR responsibility to prove, scientifically or otherwise, that your lies are truthful.
And about that “death threat” that was supposedly slid under your hotel room door while you were in a location that no one here could possibly have known? Are you kidding me?? Now that YOU brought that into the discussion, it is YOUR responsibility to provide us with documentation of your having reported that one to law enforcement as well. You clearly implied that TAH had something to do with the alleged threat. (Or was your brother Greg the only one who saw it and you aren’t too sure if he is telling the truth?)
The US Supreme Court ruled that it is OUR responsibility to expose liars who attempt to steal valor from us. Ask your other brother Greg – he can verify the truth of that statement.
