So Norway, which hasn’t done much of anything to anyone was rocked by an explosion outside of one of their government buildings this morning killing at least 7 people and wounding a score. Minutes later, a “Nordic” gunman opened fire at a youth camp run by the Prime Minister’s Labor Party where a reporter says there were at least another score of bodies according to Fox News;
The New York Times says that the Helpers of the Global Jihad have claimed responsibility;
A terror group, Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami, or the Helpers of the Global Jihad, issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack, according to Will McCants, a terrorism analyst at C.N.A., a research institute that studies terrorism. The message said the attack was a response to Norwegian forces’ presence in Afghanistan and to unspecified insults to the Prophet Muhammad. “We have warned since the Stockholm raid of more operations,” the group said, according to Mr. McCants’ translation, apparently referring to a bombing in Sweden in December 2010. “What you see is only the beginning, and there is more to come.” The claim could not be confirmed.

The UK Mail says there are more 30 dead at the camp, which is attended by teen age boys.

So, until then, I will withhold judgement and take him at his word. But, after that day, we will know for sure.

How long have you been around this blog, Everett? If you have been here for any length of time you would know the background on the person going by the name Richter as it pertains to this blog. We all know his name isn’t Richter. Richter was then called out here and without any provocation or doings of any sort from me, I was then called out by him as not being a Veteran. After some haggling, we agreed to meet to verify bona fides and that is what is going to take place on August 25th.

Good Morning Gents, I will be coordinating the conditions of Richters appearance on the 25th of August, before I state what the conditions are I would like to say that Richter has a court appearance on the 24th and is traveling a great distance unlike you who is making a hop skip and a jump so we feel that some cooperation is not out of line.
Our first condition is myself and Richter would like to meet with Old Trooper and Mr. Lilyea in an undisclosed diner at an undisclosed time in an undisclosed location in the Mankato area.. We will announce the time and location a few hours before on the day off for security reasons. You gentlemen just need to provide me with some form of contact for you. Also we will provide our own set of verifiers as well, as Richter has conveyed to me that he is skeptical of the objectivity of yours, our verifiers credentials will be given at the meeting site. Sorry, Rdub, but the agreed to place was Minneapolis on the 25th. There were no conditions on his appearance, but he had some conditions for me. IIRC I was to “bring Kevlar” to our meeting. He said any place, any time, so I chose a venue where we could have everything wrapped up nice and tidy and have neutral observers. The stated materials included copies of DD214, promotion orders, duty station orders, schools, etc.
Mankato is out for me, since I have to be in Richfield on that day. There is no need to have an undisclosed location due to security concerns. No one has made threats of bodily harm towards him, so the only person that should have such concerns is me, since there have been stated threats towards me, but I’m not concerned with that.
While I can’t speak for Jonn, I do have it on good authority that there will be enough neutral observers to choose from in Richfield. I have not spoken to anyone concerning their participation in the verification process, because I think that asking them at the time will ensure no bias and since none of them know who I am in regards to this blog, they are unaware of any of this to begin with.
