Daniel A. Bernath; phony CPO

| December 11, 2013

Editor’s Note: Daniel A. Bernath passed away on January 21, 2018

Daniel Bernath

Scotty sent this to us over the weekend and I was holding on to it for a drought, but our own Ex-PH2 was excited that Daniel A. Bernath was a PH2, too. Just by looking at the rank on his sleeve, you can tell he’s a phony since, instead of laying out the bucks for new rank, he had a stripe embroidered on the sleeve. He has service stripes for twenty years of service, but his FOIA tells a different story;

3 years and change in active service, and a couple of years in the Reserves. Now let’s do some math – you’ll need most of your fingers, he’s wearing seven awards in the picture and the FOIA says that he has five. Well, finally we got a Navy phony who is not a SEAL.

MCPO: I get the same as Brownwolf for the badges and medals. Unfortunately, the same is true for the unit awards – not enough detail for even a tentative ID, even if expanded.

Brownwolf

I found another image of Daniel “the Barnacle” Bernath with Wickre, Monkress, and Giduck standing behind him.

Possibly not NSFW, small children, or anyone with a heart-condition;

MCPO NYC USN (RET)

I’m taking it you got a call from someone VERY interested in what medals that Birdbath is wearing in hos stolen image, what they are for and which ones he really rates.

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

ROG Brown and Hondo!

Thanks … hehhehehehe!

“Oh Dannyeeeee Boyeeeeeee … Come out to playeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee”!

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

Seems like Dannyee Boyee does not want to come out and play.

Not answering phone, no email, not even being seen at his routine PLACES of interest.

Yes Dannyee Boyeee … we know EXACTLY where you are …

Oh …. Dannyeeeeee Boyeeeeee …. come out and playeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Hondo

Sounds like Danny-boi is about to be on the receiving end of a little zamboni treatment.

@Ex: Points well taken. Once more, we agree.

AS TO Shep: I said I’d do it. QED. A bit surprised and disappointed no one else has written Shep – his contact info is on the NANP roster for anyone to see. C’mon, TAHians, we can do better.

Minor quibble: Shep got a challenge token of the LAS BDO squad. They look like poker chips. We give them to the Wounded Warriors we assist coming through, and Shep certainly qualifies on both counts. The coins are heavy pewter-finished deals about the size and weight of a Silver Eagle. They were commissioned by our now-retired boss, Assistant Federal Security Director (Law Enforcement) Ron Weiss, who retired as an ASAC for the Secret Service before coming to TSA, at his own expense and only for ‘his’ people. I carry mine on every deployment, including this final one, to EWR in support of the Super Bowl NSSE.

@ EX-HACK … Ever seen an Irish MCPO go nuckin futs. Then don’t talk shit when you are wrong. Several of us have … Infact I have seen the Las Vegas card!

So in order to keep good order and discipline in order …. You can apologize now to me so Hondo won’t have to kick your ass for me while I take photos.

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

EX-Hack. I am working that job too – Tip of Spear. Jonn has my cell number.

Call me.

ExHack

Outstanding, Master Chief, re: that other job.

With immense respect. I do think we are talking about two different challenge coins.

Frankly Opinionated

I had found a number that seemed to be for the post, but on calling it, I get a guy’s message box. I left a message suggesting he google for This Ain’t Hell, and/or return a call to me. I let him know that a major phony just may bring a bad smell to that VFW post.
I hope it helps.
I still think that we should contact the judge that he has had confrontations with, as he is well educated on just who and what this dickless eunuch really is.

Just An Old Dog

The VFW facebook has a members list, I messaged one of them ( I think he was one of the officers) with a link her and a run down on Birdbath’s shit-baggery. I didn’t get anything back as of yet. It could be he hasn’t read it. It could be he don’t care. It could be Birdbath is considered untouchable. He is probably dug in deep, did a lot of stuff with them and can threaten to take his ball and go home.

Just An Old Dog

I second Frank’s motion about contacting the Judge (Hyatt) that Birdbath has been messing with. He is a Navy Vet also. I bet he’d love a link to this. I think he would have a lot to say to the California Bar to get Birdbath permanently disbarred for being a perpetual shitstain on the skivies of the court system

@1238 – love this comment by Tom Peghiny in his letter to the owners of the airplane that “Crash” Bernasty had his accident in:

“He is currently under investigation by the Oregon State Bar for the unauthorized practice of law”

Me thinks that Bernasty has been up to some unethical behavior once again… and it may be the reason that he’s gone underground.

I’ve also e-mailed the VFW commander at the link provided on the webpage, but like others, I haven’t received an answer. Either Bernasty is screwing with things on that end of the post commander doesn’t give a damn about one of his members being in the same class as Paulie NoNutz, Phildo and ShOrTbUsRiDeR41.

OWB

Would suggest that no one use the web site that himself administers in an effort to contact the VFW post officers. Use the contact info from the national website instead. It is theoretically possible that himself also gave them info which cycles back to him, but it is much less likely.

3/17 air cav

@1265 ….. Jonn, I can do it. Need a address and time of meeting. I’m about 20 miles from his VFW post. More than happy to help.

James Gardner

Wow…simply..wow! He did not even take the time to color correct the buttons on the jacket. Sad excuse for a man right there.

3/17 air cav: meeting appears to be scheduled from 1900-2030 PST on Mon, 3 Feb 2014 at the Tualitin VFW Post. Address seems to be listed here:

A Proud Infidel

OH, to be there myself when it happens, willya post an AAR afterward, 3/17? I’m on the opposite side of CONUS!

Ex-PH2

Gee, you guys are not going to get into a pissing match with that asshole bernutsky, are you?

I’m mostly interested in seeing that other matter, the one MCPD and I discussed, brought to light.

The Oregon local chapter had plenty of time to do something. It is in the hands of National. Although … we should send a VFW to their chapter meeting and see if they are doing the right thing.

He needs the boot at their next regular meeting … if not sooner!

3/17 air cav

Seems to be a difference of opinion should I go or let nature take its course?

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

Air Cav … Definately go!

A Proud Infidel

@1280, DITTO!! I would go myself if I had the time off and lived close enough!!

Hondo

3/17 air cav: I’d suggest going, but also to avoid getting into a p!ssing contest with anyone.

Remember that if you’re not a member of that post, they may not be particularly interested in whatever you have to say as an outsider at their meeting. (Local organizations often resent outsiders telling them what to do.) And if Bernath is there, you can bet he’ll use the post’s meeting rules to suppress any discussion of the matter if he can.

What I’d suggest is to attend the meeting and, if the matter isn’t discussed, to have a short chat privately with the post leadership after the general meeting. That way you know the situation’s been brought to their attention, but also don’t put them “on the spot” in public in front of the entire post.

Taking some printed extracts from this and other sites (PO1 Sheppard’s retirement photo and the side-by-side comparison Jonn posted would be a great start) and/or a handheld device with wireless connectivity might also be a good idea. That way you could show them precisely what you’re talking about. A tablet PC would work well for that, but a smartphone with a decent display might also work well enough. This isn’t absolutely necessary, but might be helpful in convincing them to take you seriously. (If you take a handheld device, “test fire” it in a public place away from home to ensure you’ll be able to show them what you want them to see at their place.)

DO take them the URL of this article in written form. Also give them Jonn’s mail/phone contact info (see the contact us button at the top of this page). If they’re older guys, it’s possible they might be “Internet challenged” and prefer mail or phone contact instead.

Just my “two cents worth”.

Ex-PH2

MasterChief, I forwarded Shep’s complete list of awards to you yesterday.

OWB

3/17, Not sure that anyone disagrees about your going. To clarify, though, I was cautioning to take information from the national rather than the local website just because it is more likely to have correct info on it. Not guaranteed, but more likely.

If you are NOT a member of the VFW, you may be asked to leave for part of the meeting. Part of some meetings are closed to non members. (I am a national member, but not a local post member. But, I can attend all meetings.) Have your membership card available in case they ask for it. At the post I most often frequent, we all just show our cards at each meeting even though everyone knows each other.

Hondo

I’m curious, OWB. If a non-VFW-member had a matter they wanted to bring to the attention of a VFW Post’s leadership, what would be the venue/procedure for doing so?

John S
Joe A

That’s hilarious. Here’s a side-by-side, with an excerpt from the Bernath “resume” for context:

OK, can’t embed images. Here’s a link instead:

Ex-PH2

This clanker just has no shame.

ChipNASA

What a non flying fuckstick.

OWB

Hondo, I’d suggest that it be done the same way you would handle a complaint about anyone in any organization: make an appointment to meet privately with a member or members of the leadership team and lay it out for them. Personally, I would ask to meet them for coffee somewhere and play it by ear, but have all the supporting docs and info that you suggested earlier.

It’s difficult to believe that they remain completely clueless after the National VFW has now had time to inform them, but with the valor thief himself in control of their website, and probably most of the comm, they could legitimately be unaware of any wrongdoing on his part.

Meanwhile, it certainly would be interesting to have a report from a VFW member who attended the meeting just to hear what transpired, or if they even know this individual. Do we have confirmation that they do know him? All I’ve seen so far is his claim of being associated with that post.

Valkyrie

Does this asstard have any real photos of himself? You’d think he’d be better at photo shop with all the practice he’s had stealing other’s pictures.

Joe A

He claims in association with his photoshopped barrister photo that he “attended Oxford University England, Brooks Institute of Legal Practice at Oxford University.”

However, he links to Oxford Brookes which is a much less prestigious school that, while also in the town of Oxford, is completely unrelated to Oxford University.

As far as I can tell, Oxford University does not have a “Brooks Institute.”

If ever challenged about this, he would claim this is all tongue-in-cheek, roughly equivalent to him claiming he was once the Prime Minister.

Joe A

Just noticed that this part of his “resume” concludes with:

“*just kidding. Dan Bernath isn’t a barrister”

Valor thief with a get out of jail asterisk.

OWB

Hmmm. Now there’s an idea. It never occurred to me to claim having attended Oxford just because I walked across some of those cobblestones many years ago.

OWB: Hey, I’ve been to Oxford!

Ex-PH2

Joe A: the only actual school of law connected to Oxford University is Oxbridge, which is also connected to Cambridge (hence the name Oxbridge), and run by both universities.

And since he barely completed high school, and went to some cheap-ass law school here in the USofA, he’s already forsworn himself, hasn’t he?

Ex-PH2

It’s probably a safe bet, in fact, that bernastypants has never even set one foot in England.

Ex-PH2

dandan the bernastypants man

Ex-PH2

got caught lying and away he ran!

Ex-PH2

1300! Thank you, America!

I’d like to thank the Academy and my producers and all the members of the hive of scum and villany known as Stolen Valor thieves, fakers and POS poseurs!

It was a tought fight, but I won!

“Unsurprisingly, they found that conduct disorder scores were significantly related to all offence categories and adult antisocial personality disorder scores were associated with most offences, especially obstruction of justice, firearms, robbery and blackmail, escape and breach, fraud, burglary and theft as well as violence.”

“With regards to other cluster B disorders, narcissistic personality disorder scores were associated with fraud and forgery.”

The level of buttfuckery that this man is involved is off the charts.
