MCSO: Deputies shoot armed Jaguar driver at end of chase through Montgomery County
The man was taken to a hospital where the sheriff’s office said he was in critical but stable condition.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A man is in critical condition after he was shot by a deputy following a police chase in Montgomery County late Friday night, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.The sheriff’s office said the chase started when deputies attempted a traffic stop on the driver of a white Jaguar in south Montgomery County. During the traffic stop, MCSO said the driver took off and deputies took chase.
The Shenandoah Police Department used tire deflation devices to stop the Jaguar on the on-ramp to FM 1488. At that point, MCSO said the suspect got out of his car with a gun and a deputy opened fire multiple times, hitting the suspect. The man was taken to a hospital where the sheriff’s office said he was in critical but stable condition.

Woman shoots suspect after coming home to find stranger inside near 43rd Ave and McDowell
PHOENIX — Phoenix police say a woman shot a suspect after she found her inside her home.
Just after 1:30 p.m., officers were called to a home on Monte Vista Road, near 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road, for reports of a shooting.
During an investigation, officers learned the homeowner went into her house and found an unknown woman inside. The homeowner shot the suspect.
She was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries and later released and booked into jail to face possible charges of assault and trespassing. She has been identified by police as 33-year-old Alecsandra Sarzoza.
