Phillip West Parrish; phony SEAL

| February 24, 2018

Our partners at Military Phonies share their work on this fellow, Phillip Parrish, who apparently wants people to believe that he’s a Navy SEAL. He wears the Trident while he’s on Patriot Guard missions;

He was in the US Navy, but he was an AN (Airman E-3) after ten years of service.

E3 over 10. Stellar performer. That’s not easy to do.

HMCS(FMF) ret

10 years and E3… no GCM? I thinkuth that someone got their pee pee whacked.

And the pic of PHILLIP WEST PARRISH at the top – looks like he’s prepping to get his SQUEAKHOLE DORKED by showing everyone his WAR FACE!!!

John L. McCue, MS1 (SS) USN retired

Senior Chief, I agree -likely more Bad time then good time. i’m surprise if he didn’t get a less than Honorable discharge.

Phillip Parrish

No I was not a Seal. But my best friend was. He was KIA and I wear the trident in his honor. His wife asked me to wear on PGR missions to honor him. I was not in for 10 years I was in for 5 from 78 to 83. And yes I got in a little trouble being stupid and young.

IDC SARC

Ok leg….ya also wear those golden leg spreaders to honor someone….really.

Grab yer e-tool and tell us more.

SFC D

Phil, we’ve already heard that story, take a step back and get your lie straight. We’ll wait. We’re a patient bunch.

Hondo

He was KIA and I wear the trident in his honor.

Dude – please. Come up with a more believable and original tall tale.

We’ve heard that “wearing it to honor a friend” bullsh!t so often it’s not particularly funny any more.

IDC SARC

classified claim to follow.

Graybeard

pathetically predictable

A Proud Infidel®™

Sounds like a very stellar dirtbag/dickstepper!

Hack Stone

He was just pacing himself. His career was a marathon, not a sprint. Unfortunately, he dropped out after the first mile due to the Hershey Squirts.

Green Thumb

Yeah.

Loser.

2/17 Air Cav

He says what a guy named Ferris said when he was nailed wearing things he didn’t earn. Ferris claimed that he was honoring his own brother. That didn’t work out and Ferris resigned as the president of the Korean War Veterans Association. I believe he is, to date, the highest-placed user of that bullshit. Many others have used it and continue to do so even though it just doesn’t work. When one has an honest, personal interest in honoring a particular member of the Fallen, the particular member’s name is displayed. In this guy’s case, he sports the trident, bringing attention to himself and none to the unnamed Fallen SEAL he claims to honor. How come none of these clowns ever wants to honor a Girl Scout or a member of 4H?

Frank

Of course this guy’s a faker. He doesn’t have one of those gay leather vests that all the “real ones” wear.

Doc Savage

At the rate the phony seals are popping up, we should be able to field a heavy combat brigades worth of them by June.

Now…if only we could get some phony SF truck drivers to move ’em to the rally point…..

Joseph Williams

This is one contest that I am glad the Marine Corps is losing! Joe

Speaking of which, I ate 2 boxes of Girl Scout cookies – Caramel Delights.
A box at a time.
That stuff is crack.
Beware…

Did you have a stroke?

Doc Savage

No….White Castles.

2/17 Air Cav

Freakin’ classic.

A Proud Infidel®™

Funny thing about White Castles, the drunker you are, the tastier they get!

Doc Savage

They kinda taste the same going both ways when I am sober.

-.-

Ex-PH2

POor fellow. What looks good in the wrapper doesn’t always do so well in your stomach.

Take a 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda, dissolve it in a glass of cold water and drink most of it. Costs nearly nothing, has no side effects and might settle your stomach.

Yes, you will burp extensively, but you’ll survive.

After the pizza mistake I made last night, it came in handy.

Mason

Knew a guy in the service who would just down a spoonful of baking soda dry for heartburn. Couldn’t bring myself to try it.

Sparks

That was an old family heartburn remedy passed to me and I used it for years. Until the doc told me about Nexium and others.

Combat Historian

High drag, no speed…a mediocrity in his own mind…

SaraSnipe

His FOIA indicates he was awarded a Navy Expiditionary Medal, that was kind of a big deal back in the day. I am acquainted with a few sailors that are quite proud of that award. As a veteran, I think I would recognize that award and the fact that it was not given out as a party favor. Civilians might not, and that may be why he (and others) have to embellish. He must have been UA for a while also. Ten years , and getting out as AN? There may be more to this story.

Mick

Yup; something isn’t right here.

His ‘History of Assignments’ page posted above shows that he was released from active duty on 15 July 1980, but then according to his FOIA, he wasn’t discharged until 15 July 1988, and his place of separation is listed as Camp Lejeune, NC.

It’s more than a little odd that a Navy AN from the VP community would be discharged at Camp Lejeune.

There’s got to be more to this tale.

Forest Green

It’s probably where he was released from the Brig.

Frank

I propose a solution.
Anyone found guilty of military faking should lose the right to bear arms, like any common criminal.
Faking to this extent is indicative of mental health problems.
Should the fakers complain, they could be consoled with the thought that they could create imaginary weapons to comfort themselves.

1610desig

So another faker in the Patriot Guards. Sort of on topic, my local YMCA (best gym around these parts) sponsors monthly veteran coffees. I thought about popping in on one but am so sensitized to posers that I have this nightmarish vision of a Star Wars bar scene of geezers sporting garish and unseemly martial-esque hats and other adornments humbly marketing their alleged service…I don’t even like coffee so why risk it?

A Proud Infidel®™

I grew up in the seventies and eighties near a Military Installation knowing and being mentored by WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam Vets and the ones who did the most talked about it the least.

HMC Ret

API: Roger that. At the VA, those with the most regalia and who are the most vocal of their heroism, exploits, etc., I suspect are bullshitters. They occasionally get called out by the real-deal dudes. It would be worth paying for if there were a charge to see the exchange between the poser and those who called him out. I think the real-deal guys, at most, wear a service cover, little more. I wear a Navy cover, and only began doing so within a few months. It opens a few conversations with others, which I usually enjoy.

Duane

I’ve noticed that as well at my local VA – the ones that I know were in some hot situations spend more time talking about the stupid stunts they used to pull than anything else. I have far more pleasure listening to them recalling some of the things they used to get away with and not get caught than anything else. Hearing some of their antics, there are times that I’m amazed some of them made it this far in their lives, but the smiles on their faces when they are talking is worth millions.

Dustoff

Amen 1610, I live near a coffee shop that is dedicated to veterans. I drop in on Veterans Day every year. It doesn’t take long for one to separate fact from fiction. Most of the guys there are normal, well adjusted men and women who have truly served with honor in war and peace. Of course there’s a group that’s always there, festooned with their combat finery, spinning yarns of daring-do, and as I’ve stated before here on TAH, guys younger than me (I was 14 when Saigon fell) where allegedly in “the shit” in “Nam. BTW of these posers not one mind you were a wheeled vehicle/generator mechanic, or a supply guy…nope. Everyone was in the bush, going toe to toe with the NVA. One , tried to pull me into his fantasy: Him-“Hey man what did you do while you were in?” Me- “I was a Flight Medic with Dustoff during peacetime (The 80s)”. Him- “You guys saved a lot of my brothers man”. Me- ” Not me, I was in junior high when the war ended”.

chooee lee

This pant load is a barnacle on the hull of progress.

1610desig

Appropriate metaphor given his stellar service in the Navy

brian allen

Would love to know the percentage of patriot guard riders are phony shitbirds !

Mason

Dad (Viet vet) and I talked about doing it, but we both sort of thought they were a little too much show for us. Starts to look tacky. I mean is it about you or the guy whose funeral you’re guarding?

AW1Ed

Another Left Coast P-3 dirtbag wannabe SEAL. I hope his local Patriot Guard leadership has been informed.

26Limabeans

MILITARY EDUCATION:
NONE

After ten years?

AW1Ed

Hence the undesignated E-3 at 10 years.

Ex-PH2

Couldn’t even get a Bosun’s Mate rating out of it? What’s wrong with this picture?

A Proud Infidel®™

E3 with ten years of service, must have been an Atomic Dickstepper.

Jeff LPH 3, 63-66

As I’ve posted in the past, I cannot say anything bad about his long E3 status due to my own slow making MM3 after 3 years, BUT I can say that I went into the ARNGUS as an E4 back in 75 and left in 77 as a hard 5. So getting down to my usual post, Looks like the you know who are still in the lead at the TAH starting gate. Bring back a retro $100.00 window at the track.

HMC Ret

At some point I have to believe this guy was at least an E4. He wouldn’t have been allowed to stay that long as only an E3. He had half a career in when canned. He must be hating life. He would have been long retired by now had he gotten his shit together. I just LOVE that badass scrowl on his face. I don’t see a ponytail, mutt or POW patch, though, so this toad isn’t even trying. Sucks to be you, buttwipe. You couldn’t do the little expected of you so you got bounced. Missing that retirement check, are you? I’m thinking you had planned to make a career or you would have been long gone prior to the ten year mark. Musta screwed up. No retirement check for you, bozo.

Mason

SPC, SFC what’s the difference? It’s just one letter. 😉

11B-Mailclerk

At least you were a -Platoon Specialist-, right?

Not everyone gets that coveted role.

E4 Mafia For Life.

I was a Command Specialist Major. I wore the normal E4 Sham Shield but The E4 Mafia does not advertise it’s inner rank structure.

Hondo

I think the discharge date of “15 July 1988” on the NA 13164 (“INFORMATION RELEASABLE . . . “) may be a typo, and that the correct date should have been in Jul 1983 vice Jul 1988.

On his record of assignments, the last entry seems to have a loss date of 1 Jul 1983 and an annotation of “Disch”. Since his record of assignments also indicates he’d been RELACDU and transferred to NRPC NOLA on 16 July 1980, that’s consistent with a final discharge from the USNR.

As I recall, “right finger/wrong hand” is a common typo. “3” and “8” are both typed with the middle finger by a touch typist – the 3 with the left hand, and the 8 with the right.

Won’t speculate regarding why the USNR released him over a year early (total military obligation was 6 years when he enlisted in 1978) during the Reagan defense build-up. But it sure looks like they did.

Sparks

Phony SEAL. Legit queef.

rgr769

This is so sad. He couldn’t come up with the cash for a real leather vest. His Patriot Guard ride is prolly one of those cheapo Chinese motorcycles or scooters.

E4 Mafia For Life.

They don’t make official Pleather Poser Vests™.
But I do recognize the vest he’s wearing as being constructed from the passenger side seat upholstery of a 1972 Ford Pinto.

Ret_25X

I’ve never actually seen one of these jackets or vests IRL…the hats are literally everywhere, though.

Is there some special fakery store these jacklegs buy them from?

rgr769

No, the standard leather vests bikers like to sport do not have bling and patches on them when purchased; they are unadorned when sold by numerous vendors of motorcycle gear. The POSer then sews on various unearned patches and pins on his fake bling.

26Limabeans

They only do it to “honor” real vets that waded through the real shit.
Here is a really cool one.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/263470525227

Not much room for bling on the back though.
The most popular size is “fat fuck”.

E4 Mafia For Life.

LMAO!!!

annabelle

what a loser.

OSC(SW) Retired

Fucking brown shoe Sailors.

E4 Mafia For Life.

Notice the big patch with all that writing on it?
So people are supposed to run off the road trying to read all that shit?
What do you think it says?
I think he needs a large patch front and back that says, “DNR.”

Charles

Probably should also note the United States Marine Corps jump wings in the bottom photograph. With no Airborne School or jump slots in his record of prior assignments.

Madwhitewoman

First of all, do any of y’all know him personally? No!! But I do and he is neither a fake nor a phoney. This is someone having issues in their own life wanting to take the heat off of them. We know who it is and his day too will come. So until you know the whole truth, don’t say shit!!
Oh and how is it that I can’t email the fucking author of this write up to ask him for his proof. Funny how he can post shit and hide behind a computer.

RGR 4-78

Another necroposting sock puppet.

“do any of y’all know him personally”
No, and my life is better for it.

IDC SARC

More like ignorant white woman….doesn’t know who she’s fukking with.

Time to hit the surf zone.

Graybeardc

sniff…. sniff….

Do I smell a sockpuppet?

The Force of Ignorance is strong with this one.

2/17 Air Cav

You really ought to conserve those exclamation points. You may need them one day. By the way, how does one come to choose “Madwhitewoman” as a screen name? I’m sure that there must be some significance to it, but it eludes me.
