TAH now a popular read among filthy hippies

| November 13, 2011

I guess the hippies are getting tired of the echo chamber they’ve created in regards to their good works at the pestilence-ridden Occupy Wall Street encampment and they’re reading some of the more relevent material written about them, because TAH is now being quoted in filthy hippie publications like the New York Times;

But not [every veteran] agrees [about Scott Olsen]. Jonn Lilyea, a Gulf War Army veteran and blogger, warns Scott Olsen, the critically injured Occupy Oakland protester (and an Iraq veteran), “if you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.”

I guess that’s one of the blogging benefits of saying that which no one else is willing to say. So if you’re wondering where the newest spate of trolls originates, now you know.

Jim sends us a link to a report from the Daily News about Joan Baez (who incidentally was refused permission to play for the troops at Walter Reed a few years back)…and the hippies didn’t even know who she was;

“She’s a war hero who served in Vietnam, I think,” said 19-year-old Luke Fields, who hails from Morningside Heights. “She saw first-hand that war was a nightmare.”

Stupid hippie fucks.

Nice quote, Jonn. Congrats on the recognition.

“She’s a war hero who served in Vietnam, I think,” said 19-year-old Luke Fields, who hails from Morningside Heights. “She saw first-hand that war was a nightmare.”

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. If you don’t know history these days, I guess it’s cool to just make things up as you go along. Fucking tools. This is why Luke Fields doesn’t have a job: it’s not the 1% who control all of the wealth, it’s the 1% that he averaged in school.

God, I hate stupid people.

Just Plain Jason

It’s like reading the onion, I can’t believe they are this stupid, but then yep they are. Hell I don’t think I can tell you a single song by the crazy bitch, but at least I know who she is. Hell after her husband got out of prison she was happy there was a war going on so she could make a $ or two.

UpNorth

“Stupid hippie fucks.”. Be that doesn’t get quoted in the Slimes, er, Times.
Oh, and for the NYT’s info, very few veterans agree with Scott Olsen.

Joan Baez was born in 1941, a fairly significant year in American history—unless, of course, your name is Luke Fields. Then, I guess, 1941 is just a year. For those of you too young to know Baez, she was a folk singer whose claim to fame was opposing the war in Viet Nam by attempting to shame soldiers and those who complied with Selective Service (draft) requirements. I have no doubt that she would deny that characterization today but she cannot deny what she said and did in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Here’s a quote from her from Oct 1968: “I don’t think any woman should go to be with a man who carries a draft card.” She was also arrested at least once–in 1968 for blocking the entrance to an induction center. She also refused to perform for troops returning from Nam because she saw no difference between those who did their duty and those who prosecuted the war. That’s Joan Baez. The only good things I can say about her are that she had a nice voice and did not sit on an enemy anti-aircraft gun.

That Baez quote should be “go to bed” not “go to be”. Sorry.

Stupid hippie fucks.

And this is why I love you, Jonn. haha

Yeah, a great duo, Phonie Joanie and Hanoi Jane.
“Then, I guess, 1941 is just a year.”. So true, AirCav, these occutards are too busy taking comparative statistics to justify taking someone else’s money, or women’s studies, or international relations(they still don’t know it isn’t about sex), and other worthless shit.
Very few have any grasp of history, or, for that matter, what’s going on in the real world outside their blue tarp that doubles for a tent.

DaveO

There are The Stupid, and there are The Ignorant. The Stupid can’t help their stupidity, and become college professors. They produce The Ignorant.

And then there’s Luke Fields.

Simply: wow

Zero Ponsdorf

Hey, at least they got Jonn’s quote right.

“She’s a war hero who served in Vietnam, I think,”

Hope she sees that! Talk about a shock to her ego?

OWB

Doesn’t the term “war hero” to them mean a veteran of the anti-war movement? To them, there are no heroes beyond those whose mental processes are as dysfunctional as theirs. How else can they justify the killing of millions of innocent people around the world as a result of their so-called pacifism?

DaveO

Most of these kids only learn about The Hero from reading HS literature, such as “Beowulf,” and the Anti-Hero from “Catcher in the Rye.” Most literature professors have no idea the depth and breadth of Heroism. Academics does get in the way of their buying Beemers and being activists.

“The Mask of Command” by John Keegan ought to be required reading in 8th Grade.

AW1 Tim

DaveO: Any of Keegan’s books ought to be required reading. I especially liked “The Face of Battle”.

There’s an old moron joke that goes, “Hey, pal, got a minute? Tell me everything you know.” For the occupiers, they actually would be able to do so, what they claim to know would be wrong, and there would be about 45 seconds remaining in the alloted minute.

Jeff

John,
You only catch flak when you are over the target Sir. Keep hitting the target! JDAMS all around, I’m buying!

This is the answer you get when a generation of kids watch shows like “Jersey shore” and “Keeping up with the Kardashians.” If someone wants to protest they should protest Kim Kardashians fake wedding and the pay day she got $17 million for 72 days during these tough economic times. I believe its true when someone watches these shows a book commits suicide.

SHF would make a great t-shirt…Unbelievable how ignorant they are.
