Man allegedly pulls gun but gets shot by intended victim
James David Dickson
Detroit — A man who allegedly approached another man and pulled a gun on him late Sunday night on Detroit’s west side was arrested at a hospital after he recovered from gunshot wounds, police said.At about 9:30 p.m., police say the 28-year-old suspect approached a 23-year-old man and pulled a gun on him. This took place in the 19200 block of West McNichols, west of the Southfield Freeway.
But the victim has a concealed weapons permit holder, police say, and he pulled a gun of his own and shot the suspect.
When the suspect turned up at a hospital, after being privately transported there, he was placed under arrest and listed in temporary serious condition.

Buxton man held at gunpoint after breaking into home, police say
BUXTON (WGME) — A Buxton man faces several charges after police say he broke into a home Saturday afternoon and was held at gunpoint until they arrived.
Sunday Buxton Police said police responded to Townsend Road, where a woman called 911 and said her husband was keeping the man detained at gunpoint.
Buxton Officer Eric Sanborn tried to take Joseph Harmon, 48, into custody but said it appeared Harmon was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, making unusual statements and may have been in an altered state of mind.
Police said Eric Bartlett showed “great restraint and incredible firearms discipline” for keeping Harmon in check without using deadly force.
It was found Harmon had stolen a neighbor’s vehicle before breaking into the residence. He also dropped a handgun between two parked vehicles next door.

Poor man’s Trifecta today, Delta whiskies and Whiskettes. Plus the weekend total from Chiraq. Are things getting back to normal? Time will tell.
Unmistakable family resemblance on today’s gun pr0n.

I understand anyone can buy permit holders at WalMart. But did the guy really have a concealed weapons permit? (smile)
Seriously: it’s good to see the tables turned on all three low-lifes who picked the wrong victims. The third low-life was simply lucky he didn’t get a free body piercing under unsanitary field conditions via the high-speed heavy metal injection technique as well.
Looks like Battle fought his own stupidity and lost.
Good tally today, nice to see Chiraq taking this difficult time to reflect and grow as a trash pile.
I hope that funny looking M1911’s brothers and sisters made it, that one didn’t bake long ‘nuf.
All hail the poor man’s trifecta. Helps us over the hump. Teh stoopid is strong in the perps AND the writers of the articles. We know that our very own beloved AW1Ed shakes his head as he does his control c thing. Maybe the perps will contract some type of virus infecting disease somewhere.
From the linky on the gun pr0n; “chambered in the ever popular .45 ACP”…”lead directly to the development of the all time favorite US Army Model 1911/1911A1”. This was from the embedded auction linky. Roh-Dog left us a nice video on the 1907 on yesterday’s FGS. If you didn’t do so, drop by there and check it out. If I had an orphaned 25 large USD laying around I might would bid on…a footlocker full of new Model 1911A1.
No need to go back in time, Ed was nice enough to hyperlink the Forgotten Weapons site right underneath the image of JMB’s(HBHN) pre-masterpiece.
