Pizza shop employee shoots suspected robber

By Matthew Reisen
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A pizza shop employee shot and injured a suspect who deputies say had just robbed a southwest Albuquerque Little Caesars at gunpoint last Thursday.

Justin Brewer, 27, was released from the hospital and booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center on Monday on one count of armed robbery with a deadly weapon.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Metropolitan Court, Brewer had just held up the store and was fleeing through the parking lot when the employee, still wearing his apron, came outside and shot him. Brewer was taken from the scene by an unidentified man and dropped off outside a Motel 6 near the Big I soon after.

Todays totals, Delta Whiskies and Wiskettes, are a respectable 0 / 3 / 0, with zero morts, three healing up in time for court appearances, and none spotted rapidly finding another place to be. Seems they found it. For now. Missteps fixed- it’s what I get for multitasking.

Must be missing something somewhere. I see a trifecta of wounded, but no morts. No linkie thingy for the NM piece. FTA shows treated and released to custody.

Pizza boy chasing out the store for a shot may not be a good thing. In store shooting only?

Chitcongo; Example of girl not putting up with dirtbags crap. Aim higher next time girlfriend.

Kentucky the mort? Did the life threatening injuries make him take a turn for the worse for him, better for us? Don’t go into someone else’s home showing your azz.

We’ll either collect the winnings or roll it over after brunch and the dust settles.

Okie dokie, makes a little more sense now. Thought my brain had crashed and burned…again.

Trifecta of wounded not quite as good as 3 dirtnaps, but we’ll take it. Outcast, stay hunkered down till it blows over; maybe I can get Jeff motivated to go outside. It’s in the low 80s where he is.

Dumbazz in NM got his teh stoopid self shot for $9, and he even dropped that going out. Nine bucks. smh

Going by the pics in the articles, we have two more openings in the choir.

Note to Ed; Multitask sequence for AM startup: (a) kiss your Angel good morning, (b) make coffee, (c) I Love you kiss and cup o joe to Angel, (d) forget everything else, concentrate on Angel.

Satellite photo’s show him out by pool looking kinda haggard, eye candy is observed walking around the pool in, um never mind as have to watch out for your blood pressure. Dogs still active in back yard and 2 more young things are patrolling front yard in uniform and weapons.

Articles read as 0/3/0 so is possible trifecta unless there is some news not in articles as to 1 dirt nap. Was a report of dirt nap back east of a Mafia boss sometime yesterday. Most of eastern part of state here is closed due to weather conditions especially this northeastern corner, not a lot of snow on ground (maybe 2 in) here but is covered by Ice crust and streets were plowed but covered by Ice. State Trooper killed west of here near Denver, was out of vehicle checking car in ditch when some dumb idiot who was traveling to fast on slick interstate, lost control and hit him. Power out in many areas but are ok here in the cellar. National Guard called out to help EMT and last heard was about 200 cars stranded on I-25 north and south of Denver. Smaller pot for trifecta maybe better if 1/2/0. Got spikes on boots and sled runners waxed standing by. Hope Jeff and 5th are staying warm with their body warmers.

Chasing a fleeing robber and shooting him is a bad idea.
Here in Florida that will get you charged with a crime.
The article does say the local D.A. has not ruled out charges.
I do like that CZ pistol!
Is that a .45 cal CZ 97?
10 rounds of .45 caliber goodness.
And not a 1911!

With you 100% about the Pizza store shoot Doc. Bad idea. Gun World advertises on WFTL 850 AM and mentions the CZ.

“And not a 1911!”

At least you can beat someone to death with old “slabsides” when the mag is empty.

Lesson learned–don’t go to Little Caesar’s to steal dough…

LOL

Jeff LPH 3, 63-66

Steal Dough? I doughn’t know if the article mentioned if the theft was the dough or the dough.
