Man with sword fatally shot by police after leaping from burning North Carolina home

By Joe Marusak
MOUNT HOLLY- A man with a sword was shot and killed by police in Mount Holly on Saturday after he set a home on fire, jumped from the second story and tried to run away, multiple media outlets reported.

The man was shot after police responded to a call about a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Dutchman Meadows Drive at 6:45 a.m., Mount Holly Police Chief Don Roper said at a news conference at the scene.

The man had set an upstairs bedroom ablaze, Roper said.

“A short time later, there was contact between a male subject and officers, during which the subject was shot and died at the scene,” Roper said.

Cleveland deli owner opens fire at two men who tried to rob him

by Paul Kiska
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland police are searching for two men who attempted to rob Clark Deli on W. 73rd Street Sunday morning.

Mike Makkal, the owner of Clark Deli, told FOX 8 two men concealing their faces wearing hooded sweatshirts entered his deli around 10 a.m.

“When he tried to force his way behind the counter to the cash register I saw a gun in his hand,” he said.

Makkal said one of the would-be robbers tried to get him to open the cash register. That’s when the owner said he pulled out his gun and shot at the men. The suspects ran from the store.

A pretty good day, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes; the total is 2 / 1 / 2 for two achieving ambient temperature, one cooling his heels in the slammer, and two in the wind. At least one of the two has new perforations to deal with.

Outcast

2/1/2 Not a bad day, sword in a confrontation, oh well, new lesson for the perps. Need to get at least 1 new choir robe as to blood stains, 17 is awful early for dirt nap, am sure he was the best son the family ever had as am sure there will be video’s. As to Deli owner under duress for 2nd time and 80 years of age, at least is not afraid to defend himself, any disparaging remarks might get a visit from a squad of those old cronies from the coffee shop and it can get ugly for you. Eyes might be weak and hand not steady but having canes and walkers can get them close enough to smack you, Might be an idea to run. We might be old but that don’t mean we’re afraid. Gonna go polish the old red wagon and put on side boards and be ready to pick up winnings. Glad I have eye appointment tomorrow as can only see rifle with silencer (?) but no eye candy, back ground must be blurry.

“man with a sword was shot and killed by police in Mount Holly on Saturday after he set a home on fire, jumped from the second story and tried to run away”

I can picture him getting shot mid flight and falling on his sword while yelling something unintelligble.

Fjardeson

Mount Holly arsonist, brought a sword to a gunfight. I’ll call that one a Darwin Award.

I agree with outcast…Where is the pretty girl manhandling the firearm?
Second off, is than an AK style shotgun with a suppressor? that magazine is awfully fat to be 7.62 caliber

HMCS(FMF) ret

That should be “pretty girl nimbly handling the firearm”… gotta make it sound somewhat erotic.

5th/77th FA

“pretty girl nimbly fondling the “gun.” FIFY.

You’re right Outcast, it is blurry in the background. Surely AW1Ed would not disappoint his D’weeds. This will be the FIRST time this week for no eye candy. And we know that Mrs. AW1Ed is not letting him keep the candy for himself.

Pure shame about the 4th Musketeer/wanna be Zorro. Athos, Porthos, and D’artagnion could’ve used his talents. Guess he wanted to go out in a blaze of glory.

Blytheville; Dirt nap is the best way to retire young punk criminals. Too bad for society’s sake, his partner in crime didn’t retire the same way. No problem, that one will be back again.

Cleveland; Track the perps by the stream of brown organic matter they left behind? We’ll see them again too. Spring break from junior college coming up soon.

Good idea Outcast to get the red Radio Flyer Stake Side. Grab the big one with tubed tires. It’ll haul the winnings and some more Class VI Supplies. Getting cold again, 26 tonight. Brought the brass monkey back inside.

RGR 4-78

Guess he wanted to go out in a blade of gory.

You missed it, I hit it.

5th/77th FA

Blaze, from the fire he set.

But I like yours too!

Either way, he lost, we won!

Great looking women holding and playing with guns is a must.

G. Gordon Liddy, when he had his radio program would advertise the “Stacked and Packed” calendar. I’ll let yor imaginations take it from here.
