Washington Tea Party moves
Some of you may remember that the Washington Tea Party is scheduled for tomorrow at noon. Well, I got word last night from the folks at Free Republic that it’s going to be at Lafayette Park instead of it’s original venue. Lafayette Park is across Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House and it’s still at noon as far as I can tell. The nearest Metro stations are at Farragut North on the Red Line and Farragut West on the Blue and Orange Lines.
I got the equipment to live blog from there yesterday (and I played with it all night last night which is why blogging was light) so I’ll be putting pictures and videos up in near-real time for anyone who is interested. I’d originally planned to stream live video, but I don’t trust the software so you’ll just have to settle for pictures and videos about 5 or ten minutes old.
