A shootout between three alleged robbers and their victims in Vinings left one suspect in the hospital Saturday night, according to Cobb Police. According to the department, two armed men entered an apartment at WestHaven Apartments at 3100 Paces Station Ridge, which is off Cumberland Parkway south of Paces Ferry Road.
Police said the men robbed 28-year-old Juan Dolcine of Miami and two unidentified victims while a third waited in the car as a getaway driver. During the robbery, the two unidentified victims began shooting at the suspects. The suspects returned fire before leaving the scene in their vehicle.
Officers found the suspects’ vehicle near Mableton Parkway and apprehended all three suspects. Two of the suspects were detained while the third, who had been shot during the earlier exchange of gunfire with the victims, was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
The three suspects, who are all from Miami, were identified as 33-year-old Bobby Pierre-Louis, 29-year-old Jean Therezie, and 32-year-old Cory Saintit. All three have been charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault.
The police did not reveal which man had been shot, but Saintit was the only suspect whose booking report had not yet been entered into the Cobb County Sheriff’s Department as of Sunday morning. Pierre-Louis and Therezie are being held with no bond.

I’ll bet they’re really Creoles or Cajuns, too. Out of their depth in Georgia, when they should be in Luzianne.
OH, yeah – Creoles and Cajuns are kind of the same thing, but not really. It was some poem I read in high school, something about Arcadians and and soe girl getting lost in the swamps – something like that. Sappiest poem ever. Sent me running back to Shakespeare.
Creole? Or immigrants from Jamaica, or Trinidad, or Haiti, or Martinique? There are bunches of them from each of those countries in South Florida able to speak French, or Creole.
Yeah, see, that’s the question: Creole from Haiti, or Cajun from Luzianne?

In other shooting news, Chicago couldn’t manage just one more shooting to make it an even 60 for the weekend. The over/under was 55. 59 people shot. One city. One weekend. Of course, aside from the 3-year old and maybe a couple of others who were hit by stray shots (and with only 6 dead, there were a lot of stray shots) no one gives a shit. I know #BlackLivesMatter doesn’t. I know the NFL kneelers don’t. Next item.
Seems like the cost of living rises with the body count, too.
There are no reasonably priced apartments left in that city any more. Glad I moved.
