Saturday morning feel good stories
From Weakley County, Tennessee;
The Weakley County Sheriff’s Department says around 11:12 p.m., multiple 911 calls were made about someone breaking into a house and shots being fired.
The incident happened at an apartment complex near McKenzie, Tennessee on State Highway 124.
Deputies say 40-year-old Terry Lee Haynes of McKenzie was shot after he broke into the apartment by kicking in a sliding glass door and confronting the resident of the apartment in his bedroom.
Haynes died at the scene.
From Avondale, Arizona;
The fight stemmed from accusations of infidelity and Quintana allegedly refused to allow the victim to leave, court documents said.
At one point, Quintana allegedly forced the woman at gunpoint to drive him around Avondale and Phoenix before getting out of the car at an Avondale house. The woman told officers the suspect broke her phone during the assault.
The next day, the victim returned to her home with one of her kids to get a few personal items because she planned to stay with family, court paperwork said.
When the woman was walking up to the home, Quintana allegedly appeared from around the back of the house and ordered her to go inside, court documents said. The victim refused and requested that she be allowed to drop off the child at her parents’ house before going inside.
According to court documents, the man went with the woman to drop off the child and threatened to “kill everyone” if she tried to get out of the car.
When the child heard this and began to cry, Quintana turned to talk to the child. When his back was turned the victim grabbed his gun and got out of the car, court documents said.
After the woman got ahold of his gun, the suspect got out of the car and ran away while the victim shot at him three times, hitting him twice in the left leg. He left the scene but was located by police officers a short time later.

It’s a shame that the police didn’t return Quintana’s firearm and then finish him off where they found him.
First of all, ladies, carry pepper spray and a rape whistle with you if you think someone is stalking you.
2nd, if you can get hold of a gun, shoot the slime in the nether regions, when possible. Then he can’t reproduce.
At least that young woman had enough presence of mind to get the gun away from the bad guy and shoot him.
PH2…. center of mass, repeatedly. No screwing around with nonfatal leg or groin shots. If he’s dead he won’t reproduce, either.
A groin shot should be fatal, the asshat should bleed out, and quickly.
Ex, never go for a wound shot, always go for a kill shot! 3 center mass and one in the brain bucket! Then he will never reproduce either! I would hate to see anything bad ever happen to you!!!
But…but…if you point a gun at a criminal, they’ll just take it away from you! Especially if you’re a woman!
And yes, she should have Darwinized the man but she was probably worried about the safety of the kiddo.
We can hope that Quintana gets sepsis and takes a long time to expire.
It’s no fun at all when your victim gets your gun, dammit.
Hmmmmmmmm …

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!
I am surprised she wasn’t arrested. She had the gun, he was running away and she starts shooting so she becomes the threat. Sounds crazy but it happens very frequently.
It is not crazy at all
You cannot shoot at an unarmed person running away from you
Even if he recently threatened you
You can only shoot someone I’d you are in immediate danger
If he is unarmed and running away you are not in danger
So you are now the aggressor and you SHOULD be arrested
Even if he is a scumbag who threatened to kill your entire family
That depends upon state law, Doc.
I have no knowledge of AZ law, but in Texas she could shoot him as many times as necessary to kill him, even if he was running away. In part because he has already shown himself to be a repeat danger to herself and her child. Ain’t a jury in Texas that would convict her, even if there was a DA in Texas that would charge her – which I doubt.
YMMV – but it sure helps to know your state’s laws.
