Stephen Charles Bayer; phony SEAL
Our partners at Military Phonies share their work on this fellow, Stephen Charles Bayer, who claims that he was a graduate of BUD/S training in social media discussions;
Based on Stephen’s summary sheet he spent 3 years, 10 months, 20 days in the US Navy as a STG2 – Sonar Technician (Surface) E-5. There is no record of him attending BUD/S or being assigned to a UDT/SEAL Team.

Another phony SEAL!!! I haven’t even started my second cup of Joe. The pool of phonies never seems to be empty…never.
Basic DC training is just like BUD/S, right? That 3M will put a knot in your neck if you aren’t careful & MOW is killer. Makes Hell Week look like Spring Break…what an asshole!
I knew someone who served on the same class of DDG’s and he said leaving that big, fat oiler for a destroyer was the worst mistake he ever made. The Old DDG-20 Richard Byrd wasn’t called the “Dick Byrd” for nothing.
Enjoy the Google fame you non-SEAL Stephan Bayer.
3M, that’s some high-level shit right there. Meals, movies, and mattress.
Yet I managed to qualify 3M through Div-O as a second class. Make up and update a cyclic PMS schedule for a shop?
Not exactly brain surgery.
Phony seals have now crushed Army Rangers /SF! Damn it! I’m so tired of losing when it not too long ago seemed like a good lead.
C’mon Army!!!
Hey Bayer, stick to making asprins.
Enjoy the fame STEPHEN CHARLES BAYER… you just DORKED THE STOLEN VALOR SQUEAKHOLE with your claims of being a NUTSACK JUGGLING Seal…
How about Bayer Assburn! Eat shit and die you phony fuck!
As others have noted, the phony seals are coming on strong. Come on, Army posers! BE ALL YOU CAN BE and put up a fight here…
2 in a day…probably 4 total next week.
Sorry Army, no hope for you in this competition. You’re significantly behind and falling further behind each week.
Maybe we can work the charity angle. Have TAH members pledge to donate a certain $ amount to the SOWF for each phony from a specific branch of service that gets busted.
I’d strongly suggest avoiding pledging $100 for each Navy bust…there’s a lot of time left in this year and Navy appears to average 3 a week minimum. 🙂
Give it time, CH. The rest of the year is still ahead of us.
Having color deficient vision myself, I can say that he would have discovered this condition before BUDS. Most likely during the physical at MEPS. Or like me, in regular life when everybody else noticed things you couldn’t. Like most expensive training in the army, he would have probably received a physical priority BUDS and been weeded out prior to beginning training.
I know a Vietnam era Teamguy who retired as an MCPO who scammed the color blindness test by sneaking into the office and memorizing all 3 (?) tests in the early AM before being allowed to take the test ‘one more time’.
The Doc gave him the test and he scored 100% (this is impossible when taking the test legitimately).
Doc: Very good, you scored 100%.
Future Long-Serving Teamguy: Thanks, Doc.
Doc: The thing is, it’s normal to miss 10-20% of the questions due to how people see different shades and colors.
Future Long-Serving Teamguy: If you let me take the test again I can miss 10 to 20 percent of the questions.
Doc: Get outa here.
And the rest is history, filled with equally glorious tales.
I am blue/green colorblind. I learned that at my induction medical and, later, when I wanted to go to Ft Rucker, I was skunked. I was told, “Fly for the Air Force or Navy. Colors don’t matter at 40,000 feet.” Phuker. I wasn’t laughing.
Sorry to hear that. Some tests are just go/no-go killers and the dude taking the test has zero control over the outcome.
From the other stories told to me by the MCPO mentioned above, I gather that back in the Vietnam war era, a guy could scam a little to play very fast and loose with various rules, regs, and requirements.
The toughest break I know of personally was a badass young dude going for naval aviator.
He completed all his training and made it into fast jets (F/A-18 pipeline). Then, while practicing carrier landings, some of his med results caught up with him – he had type 1 diabetes that he was unaware of somehow.
Instantly DQ’d from flying for the USN, and pulled from the fast jet pipeline. Toast in 1 day over a condition he had no idea he had.
He took it pretty hard, but he’s doing fine in the civilian world now – a real credit to his character.
Thanks. I still carry that regret. As for playing fast and loose, I have to figure that there’s damn good reason for barring people with color deficiencies and beating a color test might put lives in needless danger later.
You can’t work the Flight Deck color blind either.
Have to be able to tell the grapes from the shooters.
“Fly for the Air Force or Navy. Colors don’t matter at 40,000 feet.”
Yes, they do.
I can’t speak for the USAF, but you can’t be a USN/USMC Naval Aviator if you’re colorblind.
Being Color Blind DQ’s one from a number of Combat Arms MOS’s in the Army including 11B.
I began to develop difficulty telling green from blue when I got to about, oh, 60 y/o. Bothers me when I play a card game where color matters.
My color blindness is really not a blindness at all, in the normal sense. Everything seems normal to me, until I mention the blue this or the green that and the other person says, “Green?” Then I think, “Shit.”
It was so long ago when I took an Army physical for flight school, I don’t remember the colorblindness test. I must have passed, as I was cleared for flight school, but decided to pull my package and go with my existing orders for Vietnam. I would have missed out on all that fun in the jungle, had I gone to flight school. I do recall having to pass the colorblindness test for my flight physical for my private pilot’s license in 1982. And, colors do matter below 40,000 feet. There a number of colored lights you have to discern on the ground and in the air while piloting an aircraft. Aircraft and airports have lots of colored lights. Some may remember the saying: “White over white, you’re high as a kite; red and white, you’re alright; red over red, you’re dead,” for interpreting the runway VASI lights at night.
Yeah……so…… I have it on good authority (my own) that as a Sonar Technician (Surface) AKA: STG (which I was for 10 years prior to cross-rating to MA)you must have, among other things, NORMAL COLOR PERCEPTION. Which means, you guessed it – you MUST pass the Red/Green Colorblind Test or the Farnsworth Lantern Test (FALANT) or you are disqualified from becoming a Sonar Tech.
So, it appears that not only do we have a SEAL poser but we also have Colorblind Poser!! Double-down, why not?
I have normal color perception even though I was born in black and white. I know this because of the television we had.
I don’t recall if we had to have normal color vision as a 19D because we worked with bombs/wiring stuff that blows up. My memory sucks.
But now, the preferred method – and someone correct me please – is to fire anti-material rounds at suspected or overt bombs and for munitions, use C4.
Or we have locals diffuse the bombs because… no loss for us.
2 in a day. Sweet Poseidon, between the Military Phonies team and the crew at TAH, when are they going to make a dent in the horde of phony Teamguys?
Ah well, until the dent is made, keep up the good work, Military Phonies and TAH.
Cocksucker.
If that clown doesn’t drive a Prius or a Subaru, I’m Jackie Robinson.
And that’s only if he doesn’t drive a Smart Car, the Easter Egg with wheels.
More likely he drives a Volvo.
An older station wagon model, no less?
I was driving(I was pax) with a relative just the other day in a new Jaguar sedan and we were passed by a Volvo !!!.boy did I have field day bustin’ his chops for about 20 minutes, couldn’t believe it I have never been passed by a Volvo, and this uncle is a petrol head no less
Sheesh … that’s pretty harsh. I drive a Prius V and only have to fill the tank every 400 miles (I leave the additional 20 miles for reserve).
Sorry rgr1480, but there is a distinct image of the Prius/Subaru driver (usually, one who sports a COEXIST bumper sticker) just as there’s a soccer Mom vehicle and, of course, several actual man vehicles.
If one has a 4-wheel drive diesel pick-up and a sports car does that mean one is likely not metrosexual?
The 4WD diesel alone seals the deal on that. The sports car is unnecessary but I nice touch for urban/suburban female passengers.
I hope you don’t think you are saving the planet from Glowbull Warming by driving a Prius. Because there was an awful lot of gases going into the atmosphere to create that $5,000 battery pack and related electrical gear.
Queef.
Stephen Charles Bayer, the latest phony US Navy SEAL to pop up. Is it me or are bogus SEALs popping up like toadstools on cow patties in a pasture?
Stephen Charles Bayer looks like some pencil-dicked pseudo-intellectual candyass.
Stephen Charles Bayer IS an actual US Navy Vet but decided to shit all over himself, his name and reputation by LYING about being a USN SEAL.
Stephen Charles Bayer looks like the type of booger-eater one would see riding in an old Volvo station wagon.
((((OVER))))
Stephen Charles Bayer does not know me.
The phoney SEALS extend their lead. They may be impossible to catch at this point.
Loser.
